Cake Boutique

I was giving my husband a surprise birthday party and needed something else to fill the dessert table. I found a Groupon and decided to get two dozen gourmet cupcakes. I ordered them a day in advance and the woman on the phone was very patient and nice as I placed my order. I had my sister pick them up so I cannot speak on the location. Although, my sister managed to crush a dozen of the cupcakes, they were delicious! They no longer carry apple pie so I had to switch those out at the last minute. My favorite was definitely the peanut butter cup. The red velet was also a big hit. The cupcakes went fast (even the smashed ones) and if I ever need two dozen cupcakes, I would order from them again!

The door locked automatically in the cold so knock or call to get in! I stopped here for coffee and the owner/​baker was so kind and made me some fresh. Its the BEST coffee I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot! They also have espresso, cappuccino, lattes, custom cakes, pastry and a cute sitting area. Its very clean. Is highly recommend trying their coffee and supporting a nice, deserving, family owned shop.

I popped in last week because I was craving a cupcake. I came across this place because they were on Groupon (I did not purchase the Groupon but it made me remember the name). I pass by this place on my way home from work so I figured I might as well give it a try. First, let me say that I got six cupcakes for myself and my fiancé to take home and they were really good. It was obvious that the cupcakes were not fresh, as I went in at 4pm and I am sure they are baked in the morning. Even so, the cupcakes were still really good. I would definitely consider placing a cupcake or cake order for an event with them, or go earlier in the day to get fresh cupcakes.
The only negative about this place is the customer service really needs to step it up. The woman who waited on us was really nice, however three people greeted us before anyone actually offered to help us. This gave us a vibe that we were unwelcome. The first girl who greeted us immediately asked if we had a Groupon and when I said NO, we just want to get a few cupcakes, she passed us on to someone else and looked confused. There were very few cupcakes available, which makes me believe they probably do not do a lot of business or were expecting just the Groupon crowd.
