I don’t know about favoritism, but I’ve known Derek for years, and that’s something he does not practice when it comes to business. Hands down best in Everett.

Favoritism, not even first come first serve. Went in before another guy only to have him go first. It was a good place, but I’m tired of this. Never again, I gotta find another place now. Waste of time.

My son won’t go anywhere else. Derek is awesome and does a great job with the kids. We never make an appointment and have never had more than a 5 minute wait!

I’m new to the Boston area and was looking for a barber shop … found De Ben’s Barber Shop on a Unilocal search and checked it out.
First, it’s definitely old school barber shop; no fancy salon posters of guys with hair styles I’d never wear, NCAA tournement was on the TV, definitely a good atmosphere.
I walked in without an apointment, nor any change for the parking meter, TJ hooked me up with a quarter. After I came back into the shop, got right into the chair and TJ gave me a great hair cut at an awesome price. Both Derek and TJ made me feel welcome and I’m definitely going to continue to using them.

To the kid that gave this place 1 star: You have 1 review, haven’t been active at all on Unilocal… step your game up.
I agree with everyone else, TJ and Derek do a great job. Used to come all the way from Lowell to get my hair cut down here. Never have had to wait, never had a problem, also very inexpensive.
Won’t get my hair cut anyplace else!

Agree with the others here that De Bens is a great classic barber shop. Whenever I go in (appointment or not), I haven’t had to wait or anything. TJ does a really good job cutting my hair.

I spent the last 2 years looking for a barber shop that listens to what I ask for and gives me exactly that. I had the hardest time finding a barber who could give a good fade. Derek and TJ are great.
As the other reviewer suggested men of all ages shooting the sh*& and watching whatever sports happen to be on TV. These guys are the best around, trust me I’ve been around. If you live in Everett you probably already know about these guys, if not I would suggest it’s worth the time for anyone in the Greater Boston area to stop by.

An excellent «classic» style barbershop. Men of all ages ranging from children to elder folk. The barbers are cool, and the latest sporting event is usually playing on the TV’s.
If you need a haircut in the Everett area, this is the place!
