Had a very disappointing customer service experience yesterday. I ordered the hand pulled noodle soup and asked(both verbally and written on my order card), that the baby bok choy be cut into smaller pieces. It arrived at my table without being cut up. I asked for a knife which was brought to the table. As I began to cut the veggies the entire bowl of soup tipped into my lap. They made me pay for the soup and said they would only replace the order if I paid for another order. I have eaten there many times and have recommended it many friends who have also eaten there. That was my last meal there. very disappointed that they would treat any customer so poorly, especially a loyal customer.

The hand made noodles are delicious. My husband got regular and I had the spinach, loved it. I got barbecue pork and wonton and my husband got duck and wonton. The wonton is fresh made and delicious. Watching them make the noodles is really entertaining. We would definitely come back.

Hand pulled noodles, huge portions, and delightful broth for 8 dollars! It’s ridiculous. This place makes broth like your grandma. It’s full flavored but still light and not oily like a lot of broths you get even in china town. Their noodle soups work like this: for 7.99 pick your choice of noodles, broth(chicken, Szechuan, and beef), 2 veggies, and 2 meats. When the bowl came out I immediately regretted ordering salt and pepper prawns(which were equally delicious) because the bowl was ginormous. You can watch the chef hand pull the noodles from a small window that looks into the kitchen. Within a few minutes those noodles are in your bowl and you’re burning your tongue. I wish they gave more meat in the bowls but maybe that was for the better since I wasn’t able to finish the whole serving anyways. Will have to try the dry noodles next time so I can bring home the leftovers.

Not sure how this place got such great reviews… but, my experience there wasn’t as good. I ordered salt and pepper prawns and BBQ pork chow mein(take-out). The chow mein was damn good, but the prawns were a mess. They were fried too long with the shells on so it was almost impossible to get the shells off and I really don’t enjoy the manual labor it takes to shell them. I also do not enjoy my hands smelling of seafood and garlic for the rest of the day. I also had to ask for soy sauce and fork as there was neither in the bag. In a nutshell… I was overcharged for average food that came in small portions. Probably won’t eat here again.

The soup is not to be missed here: for $ 8, you get a hot-tub-sized vat of subtle broth filled with your choice of meats or meat dumplings, sublime house-made fresh noodles, and either bok choy or Chinese green onions(short segments of what looks like a flat chive). Trying to beat a cold? Looking for the perfect meal for a rainy, crappy Northwest day? Have a bargain bowl of delicious soup with fresh, delicate noodles. Other dishes I’ve had here are less impressive, and I think the problem is their sauces. The General Tso’s chicken sauce is just sickeningly sweet; so is the ketchup-based goo that saturates their Beef Noodle. Because their in-house noodles are so scrumptious, one would expect a plate of chow mein there to be fabulous; but again, the sauce was a lethally salty disappointment. Sauces need more garlic, onions, and spices, and a lot less sugar and salt. You’ll find this place in the northernmost corner of a strip mall with a Payless Shoes and an Asian grocery. Service is swift and quiet.

Pick your own toppings noodle house. What more can you ask for? Fiancé got the hand pulled noodles with wonton and bbq pork. Top notch dish! I got the pork fried rice with salt and pepper shrimp. Also delicious. Would come here all the time if they had one in Seattle.

Really enjoyed the ordering style. You get a paper with the different noodle combo options and just check box what you want. Very clean and spacious dining area. Our meals came out fast and service was fantastic. Loved the broth and the hand pulled noodles. I think I may have stolen their chopsticks though :/I thought they were disposable but now I think I was wrong. Really sorry!

This is the place in Snohomish County for Chinese noodles. It is like something you’d see in the«International District» — daily hand-made noodles, and you pick your noodles, broth, and toppings. Between the two of us my husband and I had regular hand – pulled noodles and the spinach hand-pulled noodles; plus bock choy, cabbage, scallions, beef brisket, barbecued pork, scallops and fish fillets as toppings. I had the Szechuan broth and my husband had the chicken broth. It is very easy to «navigate» the menu — there are pictures of what the different noodles look like so no mistaking. Admittedly, not all of it was unequivocally terrific. The fish fillets were very good, and the vegetable toppings were excellent. But the barbecued pork, while tasty, was hard and dry(i.e. given that it was in broth it was still okay); but the scallops were those tiny things that look like eraser heads, and the beef brisket had a lot of unedible«stuff» included — gristle, fat, skin(?). But on balance, it was an excellent meal for the price, if you like noodles! The restaurant also has a lot of other Chinese dishes other than the noodle bowls. We didn’t try these but the variety is unusual as well. I highly recommend this place, with the«caveat» that some of the toppings will not be at the«top of their game.»

Build your own soup, dozens of combinations and I’ve yet to find a bad one. The fresh made noodles to order are always fantastic and the soups always come in huge portions to guarantee you don’t leave hungry. Some of the meat choices for the soups become a bit bland and lost in the broths though so take that into consideration. I’ve yet to try any of their Chinese or non-noodle soup dishes yet but mostly likely will soon.

The noodles were great. Good chew and the custom soup special was massive. The beef broth was so-so. Good just not very flavourful. The toppings were great, I chose the pork belly and fish cakes. The pork belly melted in my mouth. divine! The fish cakes were also the perfect texture. The side of dumplings were very tasty and well seasoned. Most of the other customers were eating plates rather than the soup. I will definitely try a sauced noodle dish as it seems to be popular.

What a great find! It’s primarily a noodle house where you choose a soup base, noodle type, protein, and toppings(e.g., vegetables). I tried the Black Bean Sauce with Hand Pulled Noodles. I live in Los Angeles and I frequent Chinese restaurants in the San Gabriel area, but I have to say the Black Bean Noodles here were really good. The sauce was sweet and salty and the ground pork was savory. The hand pulled noodles were soft and chewy. The julienne cucumbers added a level of freshness. Overall, an excellent noodle dish. I also tried the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and sampled couple of other custom noodle soups. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp was very good. The shrimp were deep fried in whole and I was able to eat the entire shrimp without hesitation. I’ve tried this many times at other Chinese restaurants and this dish tends to be heavy and oily. Here, it was light and crispy. It could have been more spicy, but overall the flavor was good. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Plenty of parking.

The staff is friendly and attentive, the free soda for checking in is a nice gesture and the food is alright for the price. The reason why this place receives a 2 out of 5 stars is due to the bumble bee /fly that I saw in my bowl. I’m sure it’s harmless to eat it but I don’t want any Zika virus in my system. Be Careful when ordering food here especially the soul cause I found a bee in my bowl and it was just nasty!

More oodles of noodles! I’m already a fan of King Noodle in ID with the similar concept. It was a no brainer to check this place out. Except: this one comes with fresh hand pulled noodles. Swooon! Choose your broth: spicy, szechauan spicy, beef broth and so on. Noodles ~ so many hand pulled noodle options! yummm! For toppings, they have a ton of things to chose from like bbq duck, scallops, wood ear mushrooms, porn rinds, deep fried fish cakes, beef stew/braised beef, shrimps, wontons, clams, chinese chives to name a few! Two topping, two veggies and $ 1 extra for more. It’s exactly like the ID one except this has more stuffs. Spinach noodles were interesting and good. Super tasty! Broth however was a ok. Like doesn’t match the tastiness of the fresh noodles! We’ve also had their chowmein and it was super tasty! The noodles are amazing. If they weren’t so far away from my house, I’d come back often. For now, I’m glad I got to try it. As always, fresh noodles are the way go!

I’ve always been obsessed with King Noodle in ID so I was pretty charged up when I found out there was ANOTHER one! I’ve been to the other King Noodle several times so when bae and I got to this spot, I was pleased to see that it’s much more cleaner and spacious than the ID location. When we got the little paper menus I was surprised to see so many options! They offer a wider variety of noodles and add on’s than the other restaurant which made me happy yet slightly overwhelmed at the same time since I’m pretty indecisive when it comes to food. I ended up getting the Szechuan broth with hand shaven noodles, leeks and mushrooms for my veggies, and wontons and beef brisket for my protein options. And you get a bang for your buck with their gigantic baby-bathing sized bowls for only $ 8ish. I always get the Szechuan broth because I’m a sodium inducing beast and like my foods spicy so this always hits the spot for me. And I love hand shaven noodles! I feel like these noodz are a hit or miss with people but if you like your starch component thick and chewy– opt for these. I also like how they give you a big helping of whatever your meat option is. I honestly wasn’t even able to finish all my food! My date also got the Szechuan broth but with wonton noodles(thin egg noodles) and BBQ duck for his meat and I liked his combo as well! All in all, this place is a satisfying choice for when you’re craving a nice big bowl of steamy deliciousness plus they have an extensive option of sides and noodles for your soup dishes! It’s always fun getting to customize your own meal, so definitely try this place out! P. S. when we checked in, they were super hospitable of their free soda check-in offer, which was nice so remember to show it to them for a free drink!

Delicious hand pulled noodles in soup with no MSG! Truly a rare find. Ordered a bowl of choose your items noodles for $ 7.99 and it was huge. Finished it all up. Excellent quality and tastes great. Friendly service. What a delightful meal. Will try other dishes next time!

First time me and my daughter ate here. All the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. The waitress was very nice, nice place, and very cool you can see your noodles being freshly made! I ordered the beef broth with brisket and bbq pork with bock choy and green onions, my daughter ordered chicken broth with chicken and bbq pork with cabbage and bean sprouts. My broth was pretty good not the best could’ve used a little more flavor, but the brisket was good but not so much for the bbq pork, very chewy. My daughters was not the greatest, her broth had no flavor what so ever? Taste like water with chicken and veggies in it. The only thing I could really say was good were the noodles and good service. Might go back to try one of their dishes but not trying the noodle soup anymore. I was very disappointed

The King Noodle House is a spot we went based on Unilocal reviews. I have been there a few times now, and each time has been a satisfying and delicious experience. They really don’t make anything that requires a dough until you order it. I mean from scratch… If you order noodles, within minutes this chef is back there mixing the dough from raw ingredients, kneading, pulling, and other things I do t know how to put into words because I have never made noodles in my life… I buy those dried package kind and boil me up… cause I’m that fancy, but this guy is a master artist! Also, the noodles he makes taste really good… Not like a plain noodle… But like a FANTABULOUS noodle… I could eat the noodles by themselves… it’s like crack noodles… HOWCAN A NOODLEBELIKETHIS??? I don’t know but I like it. So last night I decided I can’t really be honest about this place unless I try something non noodle, cause maybe he is just a noodle savant… but NOPE! He’s an all around spectacular Chef who deserves to be celebrated. I ordered General Tso’s chicken, because although this is not a true Chinese dish, it is in fact a way to judge the passion of one who makes it. Let me tell you how he made it… The chicken was all white meat, premium cut, never been frozen bird. It was cooked to perfection, Juicy, and flavorful. I might even say it was organic, but I can’t know this… but in my mind it was, cause this is my review and I’ll say it how I like. The batter was delicious and had been applied exactly one second before entering the wok… the ripples in it tell me so. The sauce has to have been made from scratch as there were components in it that seemed to be made of fresh finely chopped herbs and vegetable components. Not too sweet, just right, not too spicy, although I wish I would have asked for spicy, because I love spicy. But it was delicious. Most Chinese restaurants use dark meat because not so good cooks rely on dark meat chicken to forgive their inept ability to cook the perfect chicken dish… not here. Finish it with fresh broccoli, cooked just to the point of the perfect tenderness and you have the ultimate GTC. I also had a side of fried rice. It wasn’t the fried rice you’re used to, that’s already been doused in soy sauce to hide the burnt flavor of junk oil… this rice was so hot, still white, fresh veggies that weren’t frozen, barely tender, and flavorful. It was better than my fried rice, but this isn’t about my cooking is it? I just think you should go and try King Noodle House. Just be sure not to make it so I have to wait long next time I visit… I think we should have a lottery system so that I never have to wait. The service is excellent, very attentive, not intrusive… The servers are always scanning the tables from their post. The price? Vey reasonable… In fact I think maybe they aren’t charging enough. I only say this because this leads to why I only gave them 4 stars. The ambiance is ok… nothing stellar, just very plain, no frills. No little tea cups and teapot, nope, just a coffee mug with hot tea brought out as you ask for it. I think if they charged a bit more… maybe they could enhance the dining experience and become THAT place… The one you go to to celebrate the firing of your terrible boss, the one you go to when you celebrate your adult children no longer living with you… the place you go when you want to impress in laws… yes! Charge more and decorate! Our 2 entrees, crab Rangoon order(real fresh crab, of course) and fried spring roll was $ 28 and some change. I actually told them they forgot something… they looked and verified that I was, in fact, illiterate. I would have expected to pay $ 45 – 50 for what we had. Are you going to go? You are… I can tell you are… see you there!

This is a choose-your-own-ingredients Chinese noodle soup restaurant. The broths have a delicious depth of flavor, and there is no after-taste. There are various types of noodles, all cooked perfectly. Besides noodle soup, I recommend the fried squid and fried soft tofu.

My girlfriend discovered this place not long ago and we have become semi-quasi-pseudo-regulars because this is such a pleasant experience: simple décor, nice staff, and delicious food that has NOODLES and is also pretty light and healthy compared to a lot of other restaurant food, and it is really affordable too. The added appeal here is that there is a big window through which you can watch the cooks make the noodles by hand, and it’s fascinating to watch! And it’s loud too… lots of whipping and pounding and stuff. Noodle dough really gets its ass kicked. If you’re getting a soup,(which we always do), you can make your own combo of ingredients from a wide range of choices… there are many broths(including veggie, which is not listed but you can write it in when you’re filling out the little card) and like a dozen or so different types of noodles, lots of fresh herbs, veggies and mushrooms, and proteins like tofu, seafood, or land meat. I don’t think I’ve had the same exact combo twice and I plan on working my way through all of the different noodle possibilities because noodles are soooooooo goooooooooooooooood.
