Safeway

I could not be more annoyed! I have strep throat and a double ear infection. My doctor calls me in my prescriptions 3 hours ago, I call the pharmacy to ask when they will be ready because I am way too sick to be waiting around. I am told 45 minutes. So I show up over an hour later and their not even close to ready. When the lady at the counter told the pharmacist that I called and was told 45 mins she gets all defensive saying they are extremely busy. I understand places get busy, which is why I called on the phone and asked. Had they said a few hours cause they were busy I would have went home and taken a nap or something. But instead I’ve been waiting here for almost an hour, and I still don’t have my medicine. Are you kidding me??? I will never use this pharmacy again. At least I had plenty of time to write this review while I waited.

My safety zone! LOVE LOVE LOVE this store!!! Out of all the stores in my location this is by far my favorite! It’s close its affordable and the staff is AMAZING! Great selections in the deli and bakery! I do wish however they would improve their Chinese takeout it’s pretty gross even for grocery store standards! Hope it doesn’t close or turn into a whole foods after being bought out!

Everett is sorely lacking in decent grocery stores to begin with — but this place used to be better than it has been lately. The staff seem bored, burnt out, and like they have much better things (which, let’s face it, they probably do, but WE don’t need to know that). Their prices frequently ring up incorrectly — to the point where it’s just a pain to go back and request the right/​sale price for the item in question, because it’ll happen 5 times in a single transaction.
My main beef with them right now if their pharmacy staff, who just can’t seem to get anything right these days. They are downright rude, and again make it clear how little they care for your business. I’ve had nothing but problems with them lately. I thought when they remodeled that there was hope, but I honestly just miss the Top Foods on Everett Mall Way. :\

I recently received my first home delivery from Safeway. This is the store I usually shop at. Since I broke my leg I felt this was a good way to get my groceries without asking someone to help me. I was more than disappointed with this service. Two out of four bananas were so bruised I had to throw them away. I ordered a two for one roast and only received one. The price of Cottonelle was $ 5.00 on my order but I was charged $ 7.99. I have sent two emails to customer service and have yet to get any reply. When I am able, I will take my order and receipt to Safeway and try for a refund. Right now I give then one star!

This Safeway is within walking distance to me, but I’ve only walked to it once… Hmm, note to self «Walk here more, and everywhere else for that matter.»
I know where most things in the store are, and if I don’t, then I look up, read the signs and find my way. & if that doesn’t work, then I look aroundfrantically, is there another way… and find a worker bee. They are usually pretty helpful, and do so with a smile. Last time I was in, I knew what I wanted, got it, dashed to the Self-​Check out, smart idea whoever thought of it, and I left. But I have been in a few times when I wasn’t sure where something was, found someone quickly and they helped me out. Next time I will have to test them with a story problem such as having a «some theme here», what kind of snacks should I have” and «do you think this drink will go well with that food?». Even if they don’t have the correct answer, I’m sure I’ll be happy that they try. Cause most of them do seem like they want to help customers.
The bakery always has some fancy looking cakes and desserts in the front displays and fruit is usually a good section. I haven’t found any spiders on the bananas thankfully!
My main go-​to aisle is the magazine/​book aisle and they have a nice selection for men and women, and teens.
It’s an overall good Safeway, you can find what you need and leave faster with the self checkout.
