Owners are friendly and helpful. I know very little about wine, but they made me feel comfortable. They let me taste wines to find something I like. I look forward to my 2nd bottle from wicked cellars and my next review

After a long Friday in downtown Everett there is nothing better than avoiding traffic with a glass of wine in a cool location. Plus they have tastings on Fridays and Saturdays so you can find your favorite and go home to sit on a patio sipping wine. It’s perfect.

The regular tastings and occasional winery-hosted dinners at Wicked Cellars are nothing short of a delight! What a treat to have this cozy enclave so close to home. Their selection of wines, cigars and gift items is terrific and the owners and staff are friendly and welcoming!

I can not say enough positive things about Wicked Cellars. I was looking for something to do while visiting Everett and found this gem. The owners, Ritch and Marlies were great. Not only was I there early in the day to buy a bottle of wine, I went in the evening to enjoy some live music, great wine and enjoyed great conversation with them and other patrons. One thing that i can say truly impressed me was that I was open to buy a fairly expensive bottle of wine and Ritch suggested I get a different one that was less costly. He could have easily taken advantage and recommended a wine at the top of my price point but he didn’t. Wicked Cellars, is a great establishment and i definitely recommend it as a stop if you are in town.

Wine, wine, and more wine! I had a craving for wine and experimenting with what wine will do if you drink it before an endurance event. Let’s just say that it didn’t work out too well. Lol I’ve read about Wicked Cellars here in Everett before arrival and it seemed to be the right place to go to for all things wine. After hitting up Totem family dining restaurant on a brisk Saturday in April 2015, my friends and I headed here to check out some wine and it was a pleasant surprise. The shop was empty when we rolled in. The shop’s owner was there to greet us and answered any questions that I had about what I needed. I wanted one white and one red wine. I was helped by the owner into finding a cheap bottle of Chardonnay and Cabernet for about $ 15/each. He was quite helpful when I wanted a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine. I think I may have spent a total of less than 20 minutes here from start to finish and that was pretty good. I guess this place has everything a wine drinker could possibly want. The experience was short, informative, and positive. I bought French wine, which brought me memories of being in Paris all over again. Wicked Cellars is located on 2616 Colby Avenue here in Everett. It’s always great to browse, like a library. There is no shame to ask for a bargain price wine, since it would be a bad feeling to be over budgeted for wine you’re not capable of buying. Best thing to do is to ask for advice and suggestions as to what works for you and your wallet. The embarrassment will subside and you’ll be happy with your purchase. The street parking is kind of limited, depending on when you go, but I did find prime parking space across the street mid day on a Saturday. I imagine it would be a little bit stringent on the weekdays. They accept the major credit cards, so that’s always a plus, especially the higher grade of Chardonnay and the red wines available for sale. The store itself was organized and impressive. They had a great assortment of bargain wines to the more expensive ones that can entertain a private banquet. Quite remarkable. I ended up buying a French bottle of Chardonnay and another French bottle of Cabernet — for around $ 15 per bottle. I guess this purchase was kind of serendipitous, since I was on vacation, but it was well worth it. Supporting local businesses was really nice today, especially when it came to wines. There’s something here for everyone’s desire. White or red, or something in between, wicked cellars has got you covered. The wine itself drank smoothly and I ended up finishing both bottles 4 days after my purchase. Not too shabby though. Well worth the purchase. The knowledge that the owners have are great. Best believe that you’ll get a great selection here for your next event or celebration. Support local! B+

Great stop at Wicked Cellars just now to pick up last-minute gifts. Marlesa, co-owner with her husband, could not be more knowledgeable, helpful and fun. Such a fabulous find in Everett!

Everytime I go in here the owners chat and are so knowledgeable! I love that they have specialty wines. They also have clubs you can join to maximize your exposure to great wines. I personally like red wines but when I bring my sis who likes white, they always find the perfect wine for her. I love that they have a newsletter that keeps me up to date on all the wineries they host. Also great for small catered parties!

I want to like this place, but they make it hard sometimes. I read a review that said the owner was rude. I agree completely, it was so accurate it made me laugh. The first time I ever visited, I pushed the door the wrong way and he had something to say about it, whilst standing around drinking wine behind the counter. Gave me a bad vibe. Since then, I’ve had pleasant dealings with other employees. They have a nice variety of wine. I made another trip recently — says it’s open at 10am. Still closed. I went and wasted time across the street and came back about 25 min later. It was open, the owner was counting his till. He was hell-bent on finishing before being able to help me — I specifically wanted assistance to pick out a nice wine. I also recently sent an email inquiring about their access to a specific wine I was looking for. I received a timely reply, stating that they would look into it. That was about 3 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. So, I’m on the fence. If your lucky enough to avoid the owner, it can be quite a pleasant experience with a lot of wine options.

My first experience was pleasant enough, I had been calling around looking for a certain wine. Yeah, you have it! The tall thin dark haired employee was friendly. Next time I’m wearing a suit, over dressed for Everett I guess. I got a feeling of «stink eye». The owner was gossiping with a regular. I felt very unwelcome.

This place is a great little spot to taste great wine. You can find wine here in all price ranges and they have a small but great selection of beer and cigars. Friday night the do tastings that feature a winery or two and they are always great. The owners are also caters so they always have a amazing cheese plate open for a palate cleanser. I frequent here very often. My only wish is that on Fridays I would like for them to stay open a bit later then 7pm, but hey they have a life to right???

Stopped in on the spur of the moment yesterday. Lots of wine, nicely displayed. There’s a section dedicated to Washington wines, but there’s a fabulous variety of wines, whether you are looking for a specific varietal or wine from a specific region. There’s something for every budget here, too, and I say this as someone who has been smug about a bargain score at Trader Joe’s, or BGO. I’d pay special attention to their French, Spanish and Italian imports if you’re looking for a great deal, and very very close attention to the wines in front, the«wines we like to see on the table»; these are staff picks, and there are some brilliant choices there. I’d also like to note that there are two kinds of wine merchants; those who sell labels, and those who sell wine. Wicked Cellars sells wine.

Wicked Cellars has created a wonderful little wine community, not just a store. Pros: It’s a beautiful little space to spend time browsing in. The staff is quick to offer information and suggestions. I don’t feel out of place getting the $ 13 bottle of wine. You can sign up for their email newsletter and find out about their weekly tastings and specials. Cons: The space is very crowded… with glass bottles. I do constantly worry that I’m going to bump into something with my hip or my bag and cause a domino effect of broken wine bottles. At tastings I’ve encountered a younger(possibly newer) staff person who, while nice, is completely unhelpful when it comes to wine information. And that information is exactly why I choose to shop at a place like Wicked.

Wick-ed cellars makes me happy! All of the wine sellers are welcoming and friendly, and I think that’s one reason why it’s such a great neighborhood hangout-everyone who comes here feels like they are in on something. There are lots of bottles for 15 bucks and some even less. They are not snotty. They have tastings on Friday afternoons with yummy munchies. So try it, you’ll like it!

The staff at this shop is very knowlegeable and friendly. They offer great tastings on Fri and Sat for $ 5. Well worth visiting if you don’t know much about wine, but also if you are an oenophile, they have a great selection to choose from. A great regular crowd and cozy neighborhood spot for tastings.

Wow! No one has reviewed Wicked Cellars? How sad. I lived a few blocks from this excellent wine shop for a few months this spring. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff and an excellent wine selection. If you need to buy some wine and you live in Everett, this is the place to go. So go buy a bottle of wine from them already!
