My husband and I visited recently for the first time and were pleased to find a charming playhouse with great actors. The beverage prices were very reasonable and I enjoyed the intimate feel of the theater itself. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Just went to the Sunday matinée of All my Sons. We are lucky to have a local theater company in Evergreen so we don’t have to go down the hill to enjoy a live performance. I normally wouldn’t choose to see a play that doesn’t have a happy ending but I enjoyed the show. I was reminded that I need to attend the theater more often. This is a great venue in town. The show runs until November 10th so there is still time to see it.

I’ve enjoyed seeing several plays through the years staged by the Evergreen Players, usually it’s been to see a comedy but last weekend it was a drama. The play was called The Women of Lockerbie and I was blown away by how good it was. The writing, directing, and set all hit their marks, but the acting was simply transcendental. All the actors were very good, especially the three leads who were able to draw the audience into the story without getting to button pushy with the audience’s emotions. I hate when I feel like I’m being manipulated emotionally and this performace was able to bring me along for the ride without that feeling of being used. This play is only open another week, so if you want to see it you better hussle up to Evergreen!
