I happened by these guys quite by accident. I live in Watertown MA and was kinda just driving by. I had been looking for the «perfect bike» for what seemed like months. Darrell and Mark are really down to earth dudes, unlike the arrogant blokes you find at many of the shops around me. They ended up custom building a sweet Santa Cruz bike for me that really fit my budget. Not to mention a wicked fun singletrack right across the street to demo the bikes on. Looking to have them put a bike together for my girlfriend and recommend them highly to anyone looking for some personable service.

After looking at a few stores, this one is the best. There is a great area to test the bikes behind the shop. Bike selection is great. The guy working here was the most helpful and truthful in all areas and among many competitors. Very professional. I would buy here again. They do a group ride every week, that’s cool, we were invited. Also, he made the bike perfect before I left the store.

I made the trip from Cambridge, MA to visit Josh at Wheel Power and it was completely worth the drive. Josh gave us superior customer service, taking the time to discuss all the aspects to consider while making a significant bike purchase all the while with genuine knowledge and concern for our needs. He was an excellent salesman without being pushy at all. I feel like we got the best value for our skill level and needs. He fitted the bike expertly then set it up so it’s good to ride straight out of the gate. For that, I bought him a cookie.

Can’t say enough good things about this bike shop. I make the trip from MA. Why? Because I can deal with the owners (Josh and Darrell) and they are stand up people. I go here for the service. This is everything a LBS should be and why you should support your local shop. Stand up business folks that love to ride.
