Party City of Exton

Their customer service is terrible. I spent over $ 60 on balloons for a bridal shower. When I came to pick them up today the associate told me that there was a different date on the slip and I had to repay for the latex balloons. I tried to explain that there was no way I provided the wrong date because I have ordered and picked up several items for the shower and was well aware of today’s date. She said there is no way to prove that and that i had to pay the balloons a second time.

This party city isn’t the best if you have the time I would recommend going to the Pottstown store

Customer Service Lousy! So Sorry I had to bother an employee to ask if something was available. He told me NO without looking and moved at a snails pace. DON“T buy balloons there!!! I paid $ 10 for a baby balloon which lasted 2 hours? Long enough for me to leave the store but it start losing its air by the time I got to the hospital. I thought it was weather change. NOPE deflated the next day. I called, the manager was RUDE~
Had absolutely NO desire to help me at all. Told me to to go another location and «see if they can help me» If the store I purchased it at is not willing to help me why would I go to another location. STAY away from this store. If the management is lousy how can you expect the employees to be any better. I paid 15 cents extra to have different air put into latex balloons, they were still flying yesterday. I will go to the Dollar Store from now on and get my balloons. I don’t need fancy balloons that don’t last from a miserable group of people!

If there was another party store within driving distance I would shop somewhere else. I don’t know what the problem is with the store, but every time I am in there, there is an issue when they ring me up. Either a problem with the register, with a can’t process the coupon. If they make a mistake (which is happened every time) they have to return every item you purchased, one at a time, and then bring you up again second time. While they do have a great selection on merchandise, the hassle every time I have purchased there makes it not worth it.
Go elsewhere if you can!

Worst customer service! When I voiced mmy concerns to the manager on duty he was rude and abrupt and so I asked to speak to his manager and got the same reception. This store has issues and needs to train its mamagers in customr service. I certainly wont be shopping there. They lost a custoner over six dollars.

We called the night before to check the availability of a product that was out of stock in our local store. The young lady that we spoke to told us it was in stock in her store and she would place it on hold for us. We drove, 45 minutes, the next morning and were told that they did not have the product. I spoke to the manager who told us he could go their Pottstown location in a few hours if we wanted to wait. Since we couldn’t wait we drove to that location only to discover it was out of stock there and the Exton manager never checked. After waiting 2+ hours we will never use party city again.

This is NOT the place to purchase balloons! The store has a strict «once you walk out the store with it, there are no refunds» when it comes to balloons. We purchased a foil helium Mickey Mouse balloon for a birthday party. Picked it up at 10am. By the time it got to our house, it was already loosing air, and it had even less air by the time the party started at 3pm. We’ve also had this happen two other times in the last year where the «fancy» balloons from Party City loose air almost immediately. On the other hand, my son received some «get well» foil balloons 1.5 months ago that were purchased at a grocery store, and both of those balloons are still floating and have more helium in them than the one purchased at Party City not even 2 full days ago. Don’t waste your money at Party City! :(

This place is probably the most empty party store I’ve ever been in my life!
When you walk in, there’s a huge empty double aisle’s worth of space. Straight down that aisle is the costume corner with the wall of all the styles and the aisle of accessories (just being put out) is perpendicular to that. There is one other tiny ½ aisle of just accessories seperated by theme (flapper/​gangster, egyptian/​greek, etc) for the people that just want to add a crown or Cheech wig to their repetoire instead of spending $ 50+ on a full costume.
I’d say this place is more for actual party supplies than costume selection.
