I wish I had batter things to say about this Location but my first time there have me a bad experience and impression. I ordered a smoothie and a panini sandwich. First of all I was standing there waiting for my smoothie like a moron when I realized they just flat out forgot to make it. Second of all, the bread of my sandwich was completely soggy. Disappointed. They move too fast and make mistakes.

Good parking. Good smoothies. Good people. Good timing. Terrible food. Overpriced food even though it’s terrible. Everything is so cold. Salad is disgusting. Meat and poultry all comes cold, probably from a can and prepared before hand. Bread is harder than concrete. Go somewhere else nicer.

Its what you’d expect from your run of the mill Panera bread. Plenty of seating and table service as well. Lots of parking out front. Had some issues here with food coming out cold in the past. Would return sparingly.

Standing at the register, the only cashier/order taker kept answering the phone and ignoring us. Once I heard her tell the person on the other end of the phone that they had run out of bread we decided to go elsewhere. It is notable that the manager walked by us a couple of times and averted her gaze. She also didn’t react to me trying to get her attention. I find it very frustrating when a business penalizes you for showing up in person. More so when their management ignores you

Definitely one of the nicer Panera Bread locations. «Fast Lane Kiosk”– this makes my 3 star review increase to 4 starts. You can place your order without waiting on line, grab your number, take a seat & your food will be delivered! Friendly staff– they are happy to restock anything that’s low or empty at the coffee bar/answer any questions about the menu you may have. Nice layout– lots of comfortable seating whether you’re eating lunch or lounging around on your laptop for an extended amount of time. Parking— available in front & in the back.

A busy fast food place. Good food for not a lot of money but sometimes they run out of certain ingridients which is disappointing but overall I would take this place over most other fast food places anyway!

I love the quick-checkout kiosks! You can customize the salads and sandwiches. When you’re done ordering, you take your number and sit down — one of the employees will bring the food to you!!! There’s a Panera Bread app for the phone, so you can place an order and it’ll be ready 10 minutes after you finished ordering! LOVEIT!

Tired of breakfast being a competition here. Maybe one day they’ll actually want to serve breakfast.

My original review was posted when they first started Rapid Order so I imagine there was some time adjusting to the new system. For the last few months rapid pick up has been extremely fast. The order pick up time is 10 minutes after you place your order and it has been ready just about every time I’ve picked up. No complaints anymore!

One of my favorite locations to come to. Very friendly staff and helpful with customizing your order. I have come here on several occasions and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. My food is always correct and never cold or sloppily put together. I really enjoy their broccoli and cheddar soup and many of their salads. Their frontega chicken sandwich is really good as well!

Panera Bread is definitely a better choice than a lot of places you could eat. The CEO recently announced that in the next several year they are going to be phasing out a lot of artificial ingredients and GMO. This is likely because people have been doing a lot of their own research on stuff and are demanding it as consumers. I have been doing the Pick 2 combos when I have gone their recently. I am steadily making my way through all the soup selections that I am interested in.(lemon chicken orzo was too lemony, the black bean with kale was really good) The service is usually fast-sometimes(and this was me when I had never been to a Panera and was not familiar with the menu) you get people on the line who ask a lot of questions and that seems to slow things down but once you order the food comes pretty quickly.

Panera, soups salads and breads ! Always a great option to bad fast food. I am thankful and sad that they added the calorie count to all their signage BUT that information has drastically curbed what I order. I had no idea how many calories were in some items but oh well good to know I guess ! I tried the steak pannini and it was awesome would absolutely have it again. Panera is a staple of mine because of the locations, and the type of menu they have.

We showed up at about 11:30 for lunch. There were three people on register, then two, then one very, very slow cashier. He mumbled so I had to ask him several times what he was asking me. I ordered the Mediterranean veggie sandwich, which sounded really good. Tomato basil bread is my favorite, I was pretty excited. There were a few other people waiting for their food. The women running the food line seemed very agitated and too bothered to even call out people’s names. The woman handing the food out slapped a platter down with what I guessed to be my sandwich. It was dripping from how much vinegar they put on it and was basically falling apart the entire time I ate it. Just a very messy meal. My friend and I both bought pastries, of which were extremely dry and hard. It was overall a disappointing meal. I had to wait in line for ten minutes(with just one person in front of me the entire time) to ask for a glass for water. Will most likely not return to this location.

Food is your average Panera food, but two stars off for the following: — Slow cashiers — Average size Panera, but seating availability can suck, especially in peak hours — I would never get take out from here. Both times I ordered I got a miniscule salad that is half the size of what I would have gotten had I dined in. Since it happened more than once I was almost annoyed enough to complain to their corporate office, but now I just don’t bother ordering take out from them anymore. Easily four/five stars if they fix the problems above.

I love Panera, unlimited coffee, great food. I love it all. Because of this it is a frequent study spot for me. I’ve eaten multiple meals at Panera in a single day, multiple times. But this location has horrible service. The cashiers don’t know what they are doing. I asked for a mug they looked at me like I was crazy. They were talking to people in line behind me while I was trying to order, then I had to repeat my order so they could hear. Finally, I waited 10 minutes to get my food. The workers keeps staring at me, finally I said something, they took my receipt and continued talking to each other in Spanish. Then a few minutes later they called my name. No apology, nothing. My food was good as always, just not a great experience. I’ll be looking for a different Panera to visit next time I need to do some work.

It’s a Panera. Therefore, the soups are fine, the sandwiches are ok at best, and the desserts are ok or stale or the odd mix of both. Therfore, it’s a Panera’s.

First of all you have to realize that absolutely no one at Panera in Fair Lawn speaks English. No one. Not the help and certainly not the patrons. The line is ever so slow as the Spanish speaking woman behind the counter trys to decipher what the Russian speaking woman is trying to order all while a plethora of kids are screaming loudly, probably because they“ve been waiting 45 minutes for their food. The fascinating thing is that this occurs whether there are 3 people on line or 30. You see, at Panera the woman who takes your order is also responsible for brewing your latte, toasting your bagel or just about anything else that doesn’t require the dedicated cooking staff. Which brings me to the menu. They took something fairly straight forward and complicated the crap out of it so it no longer makes any sense. Even with the incredibly long wait to order I still couldn’t figure out how the hell it worked. There are regular prices, you pick 2 prices and other prices, none of which I fully understood. The food is decent but in recent years the portions have shrunk as the prices have increased. again, not great. There is, however, free wifi which means outcasts who were perhaps thrown out of Starbucks for ordering a cup of coffee and sitting on their iPads for 8 hours can and do congregate here. Talking about congregating, there is a lot of it at Fair Lawn Panera. Loud foreign dialects and laughing screaming junior high school kids can often be heard competing for your attention. So kids, if you are in the mood to wait for a really long time to order semi healthy, over priced food while being exposed to loud noise I highly recommend it. Otherwise, stay the hell away. I do. One more thing… When you order, in addition to asking your name, they ask for your phone number. While I can certainly understand this for a delivery, asking it when you order at the counter can only mean that you are going to get annoying Panera promotional text messages. I wonder if they’re in English. No thanks.

You can never go wrong with Panera. The free wi-fi, big menu, and choice of bread, apple, or chips. I ordered to go the first time and I was surprisingly impressed too that I asked for a later pick up time but my tomato soup was still warm. I especially love how I can get a half sandwich half salad combo for a little more. Just be sure to avoid the peak times as it can get crowded.
