I scheduled the appointment at least three weeks ago… I’ve been here an hour and still have not seen the pediatrician… And I’m here for an annual «we’ll visit». Absolutely ridiculous! This practice used to operate much more efficiently…

Our daughter has been a patient here since birth. During that stretch, we saw some really good doctors and one or two average ones. The real deal breaker here is the overall management of the office, or lack thereof. Today was the last straw. We had an appointment at 4pm. Arrived exactly at 4pm and waited. At 4:30pm I asked how many people were ahead of us. The front desk receptionist told me that they’d get me to the back by 5pm but we’d probably not be seeing a doctor until 5:15pm. The frustrating thing about this is that we confirmed the appointment at 3:30pm by phone. If they were so backed up, why didn’t they just tell me that over the phone so I could alter my schedule a bit. Regardless, there was absolutely no empathy on their part. No apology, no explanation, just «we’re backed up».
Because this was the second time this happened to us, I found it extremely frustrating. I asked for my copay back and left. Why would I sit in an overcrowded waiting room for over an hour full of sick kids with my healthy 6 month old? The management just doesn’t seem to care about its patients. And I agree with the reviewer who talked about the late night hours — they are a complete bait and switch. They talked them up during our initial tour but when we’ve tried to make appointments during those later hours, there were no such appointments available.
Moving on.

My son has been a patient of this practice since his birth two years ago. We have never had a negative experience. The office staff is wonderful. Dr. Chism is our primary doctor, but we have seen many on sick visits.
I love that they are available via the PingMD app if I have a question outside of office hours. I have been able to bring my son late, on holidays and weekends if needed.
I highly recommend this practice.
