Creative Scapes

I would work with Roger and his crew again in a heartbeat. After two previous very bad experiences with other contractors I was leary and very cautious but I was relieved and thrilled to work with Roger once I saw I could trust him. He has integrity and is very talented. We had a large front yard installation replacing the huge existing lawn with a no mow low water fescue he recommended which looks like a little meadow surrounded by paths and all low water pollinator and bird friendly plants and trees. He also put in uplights on the trees and path lights. It is beautiful and I love it! I also really appreciated Roger being good natured with my active participation in the process; it was fun for me and he was a sport about it. He is very open to discussing ideas and getting feedback and honors his word.

Met Roger and talked for a while about his business and how it runs. VERY stand-​up guy. Well spoken and articulate; Traits not so common in the landscaping business!

We needed guidance when purchasing an older home with a large backyard, that had been ripped out by the previous owner and not replaced. We wanted to do most of the work ourselves, but needed a plan on what to do.
After listening to what we wanted for our yard, Roger Pajo created a terrific landscape plan for us, providing a beautiful design that would not require a lot of maintenance, while promising a relaxing and lush environment. Roger’s team ripped out all of the weed-​ridden areas and the antiquated irrigation, and graded the lot, installing a new irrigation system and a beautiful patio. We now have the great foundation to install our garden and landscape, thanks to Roger’s vision. He knows what he’s doing!

My experience with Creative Scapes (Roger Pajo) was not quite what everyone here experienced. In fact I had to have him reported to the contractors board for his work and not providing what was paid for such as materials. The irrigation system installed killed some mature plants in the back yard. I was charged for a brand new irrigation system. Come to find out that it was not replaced. The flagstone work was shoddy at best. The plants were put in the ground without stakes. The water feature was not put in the right spot per plans which had to be redone by another contractor. I was charged for landscaping lights which were not put in. The list of items that were not done right or the use of cheap materials is endless. He was given several opportunities to make it right and chose not to. None of it was remediated or corrected.
When he was reported to the contractors board, I learnt that he had other open cases against him. I would not recommend him to anyone as he does not stand by his work. When I spoke with the person at the contractors board, the person told me that unfortunately such contractors constantly get away with poor work as we cannot revoke their license. As the contractors board is unable to help citizens, I am hopeful that Unilocal reviews help people to make the right choices.

Roger and his crew did an incredible job from start to finish. He helped us implement our vision and create what we wanted guiding us the entire way. He was always very responsive, communicated well, changed things when we wanted them changed, and worked on everything until it was done right. It was a great process and we couldn’t be happier with our brand new backyard!

I can Say that Roger is the man to go with when you have no clue on how you want your yard to look like. I can say that they go the EXTRA mile at providing their services. don’t doubt it and give them a call!

We absolutely love our Creative Scapes designed and implemented backyard. Everyone who see’s it compliments the design. Couldn’t be happier with how it tied in to the remodel design for our house!

We are very happy with our new front yard landscape done by Roger Pajo of Creative Scapes. Our neighbors like it too! We had to remove a large mulberry tree with large roots that were cracking the sidewalk and threatening to lift the house foundation. Roger came up with a beautiful plan and many creative ideas (using tree rounds for part of the pathway, rock river bed, low maintenance plants, etc.). And after a few months when some of the pathway rock filler had settled in leaving some gaps in the pathway due to heavy rain, Roger and his crew came right away to beef up the pathway at no charge. We couldn’t be more pleased!

We just completed a backyard re-​landscape job using CreativeScapes (Roger Pajo and his crew) and couldn’t be more pleased. He was prompt, he designed the yard keeping in mind all the items we discussed to be incorporated and he executed that design seemlessly. We would not hesitate to recommend CreativeScapes for others and will certainly keep them in mind in any future projects.
