I only lived there for a year but Leslie was very attentive to any issues I had. And when I first moved in I did have a problem but they were Johnny on the spot and all was great. I only moved because I lost my job.

First off the user Tess G is a former senior manager at this place so a review from her is like receiving a review from a sales person. This is a review from a current resident of two years and I’m moving out soon. I decided to do this review since I honestly felt as though I’m being bullied by the apartment management and I don’t have any other options so hopefully I can persuade others to stay away. When I first moved in the apartments, tenants, and most importantly management were all great. Honestly, it was the best place to live. The current non senior level staff on site here are great, they are friendly and will go out of their way to do what that can within the realm of the powers given to them. The apartments had a shift in senior management with the departure of Tess and the new current manager Leslie. Ever since this transition the overall level of service has decreased to an all-time low. Long gone is the ability for the apartment to help you out and work with you and now is the reality of if it isn’t written into the lease Leslie won’t authorize it and I mean anything. I have had several maintenance requests that were eventually fixed by maintenance and yes maintenance here is a cut above the rest and they do a great job. The issue is that the manager needs to authorize and then in my case lie to a city employee about circumstances relating to it. Another major issue was the additional water payment that was created in 2012. When I signed for another year here I was told in January of 2012 by the manager Leslie that my apartment would have a metering device installed and I would be charged $ 20 per month for water. They would monitor it and then at any moment I could see my water usage for applicable refunds or overages. Not a big deal and that was fair to me except it’s almost November and they have charged me $ 20 per month for non-metered water. When I spoke to Leslie about this I was told by her«That’s a tough break for you» and that there would be no refund and that I should be lucky I have a place to live. Do yourself the favor and don’t live here. The senior level management here is awful and the employees below the main property manager are suffering because of it. The morale and overall happiness of the people living here has never been this low period. Since there is more competition in Louisville for renters the overall quality of people renting here has decreased drastically. Hopefully I have persuaded at least one of you not to rent here because this place won’t change until revenue drops and they fire the current senior management here. Help do your part and don’t rent here, ever, period.
