Brantley P Vitek, MD – OrthoVirginia

This review is about OrthoVirginia, Fairfax office and in particular Dr Brantley Vitek and his assistant’s Diane Martin and Laura. No one wants to get injured, no one wants to be in pain. For me– my pain is my right knee and a mix of heredity and love of sports got me to where I am. And I’m extremely grateful for Dr Vitek and his team of experts for helping me along the way.
My first knee surgery was done many years ago by Dr Vitek’s dad and at one point or another Dr Vitek has helped every member of my family. I’ve seen Dr Vitek for numerous orthopedic issues, mostly being my knee. I’d recommend OrthoVirgina/​Dr Vitek for the following reasons:
He’s honest and to the point.
He cares and listens.
He doesn’t jump to surgery.
He doesn’t want you to be in pain and will work with you on options.
My advise when/​if you schedule appointment with him or anyone there:
Prepare for your visit ahead of time. Monitor your pain and symptoms and the medications you’ve been taking.
Complete all required paperwork and have your insurance information taken care of.
Be on time for your appointment, but be prepared to stay longer. Meaning– if you’re missing work for your appointment– allow yourself extra time.
Finally, Diane and Laura are responsive, knowledgeable, organized, and will help answer any questions and concerns you have. I’d highly recommend him and OrthoVirgina.
