similar experience as Ellen D., only my cuticle was cut with the nippers and I got up and left. This guy didn’t seem to pay any attention to the blood or to me… so I paid for 2 of the nails completed, while listening to them scream at me. They threatened to call 911, my reply was ‘Great, I welcome the company’…but I think the scarsam was lost on them. Stay away from this place as well… Gwen!

OK, so I dont usually get my nails done a lot, but since moving to Fairfax, May 2008, I had come to like this place… until the last time. First, the man who did my nails was not paying attention to me at all. I understand they probably dont want to hold a conversation the entire time your getting your nails done, but when you are doing my nails you could at least LOOKATMYHANDS. He seemed very preoccupied with anything else going on around him… and when you dont pay attention, you mess up. He was using that electric filer and cut my finger, after noticing it was BLEEDING he continued on to the other hand, I asked him to please let me wash my hands, wipe off the blood, anything but he said«wait, wait» and kept going. I was pissed, he wasnt wearing gloves and who really would want to work on someones nails who is bleeding?! werido. Then i asked him to please use extra acrlyic. I said the more fill ins i get(this was a fill in) the more thin my fake nails tend to become and to avoid breakage, i think more acrylic would help make my nails last longer. «ok, ok» so he puts on the acryilc, as little as possible. at this point, i am like OK, if you didnt understand what I asked for, you should have said so, and if you think i am an idiot who does notice you didnt do what i asked, your wrong. So right before you go to wash your hands, they usually put on this cuticle thing, well in the middle(done with left hand, about to go to right hand) another worker comes up, takes the bottle, and uses it on the woman next to me… the woman next to me was getting a PEDICURE, and it was put on her TOES then back on to MYCUTICLES. When i leave, i gave the man a $ 2.00 tip, i know i should have kept my money but I am a nice person. Unfortunetly, i will NEVER go back to this nail salon. They are rude, unsanitary, and just in it for the buck. BTW– My freggin nail broke the NEXTDAY. thanks for the extra acrylic, JERK!(if i had a choice i would give 0 stars!!!)

My girlfriends and I met at Fair Oaks Mall for an impromptu«refresher session». I wish we went elsewhere… My gel nails were the equivalent of a nail school dropout job. They were filed thin and the perimeter/cuticles looked horrible. The lady that serviced me filed so hard that I felt the heat of the filing tool. Ugh… My spa pedicure was pretty good. I brought my own tools and she was very accommodating with regards to my request to use them. My mother is a diabetic and does the same, so I find that I am most comfortable when I supply my own. I would not return for a repeat visit, but if you feel so inclined to check them out– PEDICURESONLY!!!
