There is a surprising dearth of maternity stores especially near Fairfax. This store popped up right at the end of my pregnancy, and it certainly filled a void in the area.
Things I like
— they have a nice variety of items
— there are fashionable peoples
— they have items conducive for nursing which are easy to find (indicated by the yellow tab on the hanger)
— the staff was very nice and helpful
Things I don’t like
— the space seems sterile. I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing a kid in this place.
— everything is pretty expensive
Hip to be Round is great for finding dresses and dressy casual items which would be good for a working pregnant mom.
