Last Saturday I came here during lunch time and they were not busy at all. I had a party of 11 and 7 of us were present at the time. They would not even seat us and make us wait until all 11 of us were there. Very disappointed with this restaurant and would not recommend this place to others. I will not be returning. They lost business on a big group how smart are they?

Service here is horrible. Came Sunday around noon. Only had a few customers on the sushi only side of the restaurant. Took 25 minutes for one refill of water. I’m not sure how the service on the hibachi side is, but the sushi side is horrible. Our waiter half the time was on his phone and taking smoke breaks. The sushi is not fresh and not good at all. My girlfriend and I got a sushi platter with sashimi/nigri/rolls. The only good thing was probably the shrimp tempura roll, miso soup and salad. They gave us some squid wrapped with cucumbers and some leaf. Which was disgusting. We both didn’t know what it was. I recommend people not come and spend their money on this location. You can spend the same amount at a highly rated sushi restaurant that serves you fresh fish and excellent service. Even if you looking for a quick local sushi fix. I would not recommend you dining here. Better off spending your money somewhere else if your going to spend that much money.

Good food. Nice entertainment. A bit pricier then other places but overall good experience. We did salmon and the shrimp lobster. Both entrees were delicious and to our liking.

Average hibachi place. The food was not bad for the price. They make claims their meats are almost equal to Japanese Kobe(not even remotely close). However, the service was pretty and they were very accommodating. The chef was entertaining to watch.

My family and I love this place. We go here all the time when we’re in the mood for Japanese and some really good Suishi. Our family friends is friends with the Suishi chef and he makes some of the BEST sushi in the area — by far. Great spot for families and always entertaining.

My family likes their food, although one table chef can cook /season much differently than another. My complaint is about quality control. About a year ago I found a fingernail in my salad. Last week I found shards of steel wool in my soup. Since we go to Sakura about 4 times a year, I would say that would be less of a coincidence and more of a trend. Sorry. Personally, I wish you could get the same fresh cooked food without the table cooking show at a private table. I have seen the chef routine countless times and not all table patrons make great company.

This place is decent size restaurant. My friend and I most recent visit here has been good. I’m a huge fan of Sakura’s tempura. The Yum-Yum sauce is so good, I’m always trying to figure out how to take a quart of it home with me. When it comes to having group dinner at Sakura. I never have any issues making a reservation for 10+ people. The Sushi and Hibachi chefs are always entertaining and funny.
