Really a lot of love added to this exotic sumptuous meal. The authentic dishes are offered in two size meal plates and come with a spongy, delicious bread to sop up every beautifully seasoned mouthful of lentils, and dal. The other dishes(although a bit on the small side) potato, beet and an incredible spinach are delectable– sending me on a fantastic excursion to Ethiopia and back in under an hour. Of course if you inhale the cuisine as I did. we’re looking at 25 min. tops! I’d love to see some desserts offered.

Prior to coming here I’ve had Ethiopian food only once at little Ethiopia in Los Angeles. I heard there was a place in town but never knew where it was. A friend told me it was hidden away in the convention center in town. Upon arriving there this little kitchen is hidden in the hallway of the center. Once you get there, there was a small line of people waiting for their meals. Next to the door to the kitchen they have water and tea available which was nice of them. Arriving at the front I was greeted by an older Ethiopian man who served me quickly and was very nice. Once I got to order my food I found out they have two options of plates vegetarian or non vegetarian. Also the price ranges from 9 – 11 $ for a small or large plate. I ordered the small non vegetarian for 9 $. The food came out rather quickly and we sat down to enjoy our feast. The small plate came with beef and intera bread, sides of potatoes and spinach. Also this is the only place that makes me want to eat spinach because it is so tasteful. Quick note all the food is is organic besides the spinach. During my meal the owner came out to see how people were enjoying the food, going table to table. When he came over to mine he asked me how the food was and if it was my first time. I’m glad he came out to talk to us and it really brought up my customer satisfaction. I’m grateful how he took the time to see how his customers are doing which made the experience even better. Overall all the food is absolutely delicious and would recommend it to people who like Ethiopian food or for something new for you to try for the first time. I highly recommend this place if you’re craving Ethiopian food. Downside to this place would it’s price and how expensive it is. It’s understandable since majority of the food is organic but if it were a bit cheaper this place would be perfect. Otherwise there is no other delicious Ethiopian food places in Fairfield besides here
