Our company used to order custom plaques from Carl’s for our annual banquet. We would order about 100 items and 75% of those were done correctly. The remaining 25% would have nicks in the wood or misspellings. My team had problems with ordering duplicate plaques. Instead of having our order on file, we would send an email to Carl’s with everything typed out specifically to the original plaque. Then we’d wait for about three weeks and eventually a plaque would show up. There was no dealing with an actual human, and reaching someone by phone was difficult. Our order showed up with two identical plaques. The same woman’s name was misspelled on just one of them. How does that happen? Many phone calls and a stern email later, we received a corrected plaque. After this incident, we decided to take our business elsewhere. We discovered Pieczonka, which is located Downtown, and are quite satisfied with their service.
