Gloria & Company

I’ve been going to Gloria and Company for the last six years, and for the last three years, I’ve booked for a year in advance and have gone every Saturday religiously. In the course of going here, I’ve easily spent over $ 10,000 for spa services and products, and was a raving fan until December 23, 2015.
On this date, I had unpleasant exchange with their newest receptionist, Sophia. Since I was going every week, Gloria had given me a club price of $ 30 for a wash and blowdry. At checkout, Sophia argued with me about the price and insisted it was $ 35. She went back to the stylist who changed it back to $ 30. I was upset about this exchange and brought it up to Ryan on my next visit. He told Gloria and let me know Gloria would call me over the weekend to discuss.
Weekend passes and not a peep from Gloria. I had an appointment this Saturday and Gloria waited till Wednesday to tell me she was increasing my price to $ 40 for the same service, which was a 35 percent price increase. I was taken back not only by the huge price increase, but also by her unwillingness to think Sophia did anything wrong in her tone to me. According to her, Sophia was simply doing her job, and furthermore Gloria was unwilling to even meet me halfway on a price increase despite my loyalty and dollars I dropped at her salon. She did check to see if Rachel could fit me in, but couldn’t on Saturdays.
I again tried to get Gloria to even go to $ 37 for Holly but ignored my request, and the next day I cancelled all appointments at this salon. It’s disappointing Gloria does not value long term customers that drop thousands a year at her spa, and didn’t even bat an eyelash at losing my business.

Classy and Very professional Salon. I would recommend Marissa for a massage. Pamper yourself at this relaxing establishment.

I drive all the way from Providence to Fairhaven in order to enjoy the service and comfort of this spa. I am a loyal client of Paula, who is an amazingly sweet and charming woman. She waxes like no other person I’ve met! I’m a bit of a baby and she makes a full leg waxing seem fast and virtually painless. You can tell she doesn’t judge you and makes you feel so safe and comfortable. I have not once encountered anything but complete professionalism, courtesy, and genuine smiles here. I can’t rant and rave enough about this place!

I have been going to Gloria & Co. for over 8 years and really love it! It smells SO nice when you walk in and there is always a warm smile and a cup of tea or water offered as soon as you walk in. The services are fantastic! Haircuts, nail treaments, massage and overall pampering, the attention to detail is top notch! I have tried many, many different places and even the most high-​priced spas often do not match the care and personal service I receive at Gloria & Co. I HIGHLY recommend Jodie for hair and Mary Joe for massage.

I went here after moving back to the area and I was not impressed by any means. My hairdresser had minimal personality and kind of gave me a hard time about not having had my hair cut within the past 6 months, even though I told her I had just moved and had a baby.
I cancelled my next appointment that she bullied me into scheduling and went to the «Other local & Co» and had a great experience there.
