Island Sun Tanning Salon

Complete rip off. Came in the end of June and got the level 1 buy one month get one month free. Well after tanning for 2 weeks straight I got no color no burn no nothing. I told this to the girl at the front desk and she said I know those beds don’t work. I wasn’t mad I just said OK can I change my membership than to the level 2 bed. The answer was no. Not until I finished the current one. I said I’ll pay the difference. Still was told no. They would rather have you pay $ 5.50 to upgrade every time than let you fully upgrade. Which in my opinion is bull. Jamie the manager is so rude as well. Claiming that her store is the only store who sells the lotions they have and keeps trying to push you to buy. She would not let me use a lotion I already had due to it not being from there and was extremely rude about it. She took it from me and kept it behind the counter basically treating me like a child and than proceeded to write a comment about me in the system. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Way over priced! I now go to Jamaican me tan on Haines rd and love it!!! Customer service is everything and island sun has none!

I have had a few spray tans here, and I’m very happy with the result. They have a spray booth that is fully automated, so no more «assuming the position» as a stranger sprays your bum. I was worried about the consistancy and eveness of a booth spray at first, but I’ve found it comes out so even and nice… better than when a technition sprays you! Plus, if you go on Sundays, it’s ½ price! Can’t beat a $ 15 spray tan! It also never looks orange or fake. Would definitely reccomend.

Rip off. Extremely over priced. The workers try to talk you out of the lower tanning beds by claiming it takes over a month to get a tan in the beds… Why have a bed that low if it takes that long!?! Wouldn’t recommend this place.
