This place doesn’t even deserve a star, my husband travels all over the states for work and often our family joins him we stayed at many hotels past the years and I’m not one to ever post a complaint unless it is really needed. When we 1st walked in there were bugs in the walls of the hall, first morning there room service knocked on the door and asked if I needed serves I said no it was the 1st morning there i really didn’t need anything, 2nd morning I said no thanks but would love more towels and trash bags I have a baby still in diapers so u go thru trash bags like crazy any way after that she never came back to check so of course having 2 toddlers the room isn’t going to be clean and I’m not the type of person I can’t ask them to clean It makes me feel rude I don’t want them to think I’m treating them like my personal maid or anything so I don’t ask if I needed bags or something I would sit the dirty trash outside the door and hope she would get the hint and knock and ask but nothing I didn’t want to leave the room some mornings because I was afraid I would miss her when she came or didn’t want to shower and not be able to hear the door, any way one day the kids and I left for the day to run errands and when I got back i have noticed someone was in there and replaced the towels and changed the trash bags but we have been our of toilet paper and been using baby whips and they didn’t even change or give us more toilet paper didn’t even bother to do any cleaning or bed bottom line all she did was give us new towels and change the trash. So it’s ok I get it they didn’t want to clean I let it go we had a day or 2 left there so me being the type that don’t like complaining I didn’t say anything well we stayed that week and checked out on a Sunday 3 days later my husband noticed they have charged us $ 270 and when I called to try to understand the problem she said that we left the room a mess! Are you kidding me? She was very rude I didn’t get her name but she claimed to be the manager and said that we wouldn’t get our money refunded $ 270 for cleaning service! That’s beyond crazy nothing was damaged yes it was a messy room but their room service people should have cleaned it, she said that we refused service yes the 1st few days I was there but hello I’m there for a week eventually I’m going to need service I didn’t have any trash bags to put trash in it how is that my fault. Besides that The breakfast servers and cook was the best honest I don’t have any complaints the cook was so nice and let us eat breakfast even when we didn’t know what time breakfast stopped and went down stairs after 9 he offered to cook up more eggs and was all together a nice person.

Be found this hotel at . We needed a place to stay in West Virginia as we made our relocation to Columbia South Carolina. It is a great pet friendly hotel and expensive and worth or stop for the night. Linus was well behaved and staff was receptive to his mobility issues. Linus is a 13-year-old golden retriever and we managed to find a room on the first floor without reservations. If you’re looking for inexpensive hotel for one night with a larger dog we were happy with this place.

My sister and I were staying in town for a gun show in early March 2015. Our first impression as for many was the gigantic hill that we had to pull a trailer up. It ended up being okay but I could only imagine if the roads were bad! Next we were greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist who was complaining that the computers were down but once we finally got to the room they it was decent. We also decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel that evening and while we were pleasantly surprised with the food(keeping in mind what it was) the service was so slow even though we were the only ones in there. At the end of our meal we did get some entertainment while we heard the oh-so-friendly receptionist and our waitress arguing and talking on the phone to what we assume to be managers all while we waited on the check. For us, we were slightly entertained enough to not worry about the wait but for others It may not be as entertaining. I think overall Id stay here again and Id like to chalk it up to an off night but the staff should probably get some training on professionalism. Lastly, the continental breakfast was okay and good enough for free I guess.

Rooms were clean but way outdated. Breakfast was very lack luster and the Frannys bar food was ok. Not much to say here.
