Earthbound Trading Company

I stopped in here as a passerby on Saturday & was pleasantly surprised. They have so many awesome things to check out, like samurai swords, incense, and hermit crabs. Man, those hermit crabs are adorable!
The little boy I was babysitting that day was really interested in the hermit crabs, and the manager was really friendly and helpful when I asked her questions. In the midst of a busy store, she even wrote her name and number down on an information sheet that I would be taking with me that day and told me to have the boy’s parents call her if they had any more questions.
I was particularly excited about the assortment of incense. There were a lot of different choices, and you’re bound to find a few that you like. I purchased 30 sticks for $ 3, I believe.
They’ve got a lot of really earthy, artsy items, including, but not limited to: clothing, home décor, and jewelry. They carry many other awesome things that you’ve just got to check out. And yes, I did say samurai swords above. I left there worrying that I would spend way too much money if I stayed for even a few minutes longer (even though prices are reasonable.) This would be an excellent place for holiday shopping or just some enjoyable window shopping as well.

The hermit crab made me add a half star to this review so: 3.5 stars.
Located inside the mall on the 2^nd floor.
Being Halloween, the store was up to the task.
This shop had unique sunglasses of all types.

What I LOVED about this place was the hermit crabs they give away free whenever you buy a hermit crab home. I was taught that day that hermit crabs will move into any shell you give them and the grow pretty big!
There were many painted shells that were full of crabs walking around.

It really is an «eclectic assortment of products!» I saw crazy sunglasses, incense, hermit crabs, hermit crab food/​homes, jewelery, etc.
The staff were hilarious. One gal bought a sumo wrestler costume for Halloween and was trying on the belly dancing outfit that was for sale there, and she put it on over the sumo wrestler costumer. I had to take a picture, which I will add to this places profile. When I showed her the picture she laughed so hard she was crying. It was something else.
It was a neat place to check out.
If I’m in the area or if there is one closer, I might look and see what they have towards Christmas time. I always keep my eye out for the unusual and they are it.
TLDR: Hermit Crab pet store, they are not kidding when they say «eclectic assortment of products,» helpful and nice employees, and a cute store. Don’t go out of your way but it is worth going in to peek at the hermit crabs and to see what different things they might carry.
