Beautiful selection of jewelry but the place is poorly staffed and after waiting over 30 minutes we finally left. We will take our money elsewhere.

I only give this store 1 star bc the necklace & earrings set my boyfriend picked out for me are gorgeous but aside from that, this store isn’t worth the hype. The necklace chain broke after wearing it only twice & they fixed it without complaint saying they noticed a weak part in the chain. This was great & expected, what wasn’t expected was the poor way my boyfriend was treated when he went in to look & finally purchase the jewelry, & how we were treated when we went in together to drop off the necklace & pick it up the following day. I’ve never felt as much of a pariah as I did when we walked in there. Someone mentioned snooty sales people, how about snooty, judgmental, not getting our business sales people?

This place is the absolute best! They’ve always been helpful with mine and my husband’s jewelry needs. The did Te best job getting me the ring I wanted and keeping it in my husband’s budget when we were getting married. When I got my version 2 wedding ring, the staff was in cahoots with my husband to surprise me in a special way bringing me to tears. They’re always good about getting our stuff clean or repaired. They do it in site so you don’t have to wait forever. They have a kid place which is great. Their hours are wonderful. They tend to have good specials. Something else great is if you buy something you can trade it back at full value to use toward another purchase. Love this place!

I have purchased three items from this location. First item was a necklace with a cross on it. Necklace broke repeatly. Necklace was fixed a handful of times. Finally I was given a new heavy necklace that would hold the weight of the cross. Second item was a set of diamond earrings. Back of an earring was lost and replaced without issues. Prior to buying the third item I would have given them three stars, after the most recent incident I will not return. Third item was a bracelet that I bought as a wedding gift for my wife. My wife didn’t care for the bracelet and wanted to return it and see if she could find something else. When we entered the store the associate asked what she could help with. After explaining the situation she asked to see the item. She looked over the item. My wife was looking down into the case and the associate glared over the top of her at me and gave me a look like is she stupid. She then told my wife that she loved it. My wife responded that it just wasn’t her style. My wife looked over the other bracelets and decided she didn’t care for any of them either. At this time the associate said maybe a watch. As my wife looked over the watches the associate excused herself to get a drink of water. Funny she didn’t go get a drink she went to another associate and told her what the situation was and I could see the lady helping us say OMG!!! At this point my wife was frustrated and didn’t see anything she liked or wanted. We decided to leave with the bracelet. A few days later I went back and returned the bracelet in the thirty day timefram. Funny thing is the associate that helped me had no problems returning it. My wife has vowed to never step foot in the store again. Only time I will step foot in the store is to have the items she already owns inspected and fixed. I live 45 mins on a good day from Shane Co and I will be taking all my business to them from now on.

I never thought I would ever say this, but yes he got it at Jared! haha My fiancé and I had been looking for wedding rings for a few months. We’ve been to every jewelry store imaginable. Zales, Helzberg, Tiffany’s, Kay, etc. The service at the low end jewelry stores were not great. You always felt pressure to buy something, plus I never liked the idea of browsing inside a mall. The high end stores always had great customer service, but I didn’t want to pay more than double just for the name. It’s not like anyone will ever ask what brand the ring is as long as it big, bright, and sparkly. We were going to the Fairview Heights mall when we passed by a free standing Jared store. I was thinking we could just go look. It wouldn’t hurt to look. Good thing that we did, because we were able to find exactly what we wanted. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by one of the sales associates, Carrie. Since it was our first time in a Jared, she offered to give us a tour of the store. It was a lot bigger than other jewelry stores. They carry many brands, including LeVian and Tag Hauer. The tour was the best part of our visit that day. I’ll explain below. After the tour, we were able to look at wedding rings for him. Jared has this policy were their prices are the lowest that you will find at all times. They don’t have sales like you would see at Zales or Kays. They guarantee the lowest prices everyday so you don’t have to worry about missing out. This could be a good or a bad thing. Good if you want to buy something that will never go on sale like men’s wedding rings. My fiancé looked at rings and it was between two. He initally wanted this black titanium ring, but Carrie talked him out of it. Thank god. I wasn’t too happy about that choice. She told him that he might like it now, but he might not like it so much 10 or 15 years down the line, which I completely agreed with. He finally chose a nice silver titanium ring that I was very happy with. Now it was on to me. We had been looking for a wedding ring to match my engagement ring for a while. He bought my ring 4 years ago so you can imagine how difficult it might be. I saw some that were pretty close, but I could tell that they didn’t match and that would really bother me. Here is where the tour came in so handy. When she was giving us the tour, I randomly saw this wedding ring set that really stood out to me. Very beautiful with diamonds in a pave setting. It was exactly something I would have picked if I picked out my engagement ring. Carrie brought it out for me to look at and when I put it on, it just looked perfect. I was so excited. My fiancé saw how happy I was and bought it for me. Now I am anxiously waiting for it to come. At first they told us it would be ready in August. I was not very happy about that so I gave them a call the day after and they said they would put in a rush order for us at no extra charge. How is that for customer service? My experience at Jared has been completely awesome! I feel like they are a mid-tier jewelry store that you would be proud to buy your ring at, instead of going to one of the ones in the mall.
