Just drive an hour to pick up a piece of furniture that they sold before I arrived. Was told the piece was on hold with my name on it and was no longer there an hour later. Manager Jason was not sympathetic to my situation and wasn’t willing to do anything to help us out. You get what you pay for here…

Horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I’ve been waiting SIXHOURS for this delivery only to get a call asking to reschedule. I will not be going back to this place and don’t recommend that anyone shops there. AWFUL delivery system.

I brought a kitchen set from them about 1 year ago and the table was damaged and all the screws came out the chairs and when I called the warranty in they told me that wasn’t covered in the warranty it is a shame how they are ripping customers off I WILLNOTTELLANYONETOBYFROMTHEM cause its a waste of you hard earned money.

Hi Ashley. I e-mailed you like requested last week. Funny thing is you never responded. My post stands. I hope a lot of potential customers do their homework and realize weekends only is a very poor choice to buy furniture. It makes customers upset when they spend over $ 2000 & your furniture falls apart within 6 months. I am glad atleast their are places like Illinois Wholesale in East Alton Illinois.

Where to start… When you enter in the store you think, «Oh boy I’m going to be in here all day». The last time you went in the entertainment centers are where the patio furniture is now. WTF? How annoying! Yeah, they do this every weekend. Enter in the commission based sales people… They help guide you around the store tossing in whatever add on sales to what you came in to potentially purchase. If you’re like me and don’t wish to be bothered while browsing furniture, then brush them off like a pesky fly. However, they’ll be back to periodically check on you. Be VERY careful of the quality of the furniture. Those big sectionals that look inviting you sink down to the floor in them. Also, they get a lot of Ashley furniture castoffs that aren’t marked very much down from the original price. In fact, Ashley furniture had lower prices on their sofas than Weekends Only. Something is off there. Entertainment centers are all traditional looking, wish they would get in some modern pieces. Steer clear of the ones marked under $ 100, they’re not sturdy at all and look cheap(well, because they are). I will say they have nice looking bedroom sets and coffee tables(more so than they feature online). Do NOT buy the furniture protection plan, it’s a rip off. This furniture is all engineered wood and not worth protecting. It’s going to show the wear and tear pretty fast and there’s always fees involved such as delivery men to come to your house and pick it up. Plus what will you do when you’re without furniture because it’s being repaired? OVERALLASSESSMENT: You pretty much get what you pay for. Cheap furniture = lasting for 3 years at the most. Of course depending upon your children, pets, and how tidy your husband is. I’d shop and compare them to Ashley furniture first before making a big furniture purchase. You want to love it, not just like it.

I have definitely experienced better. a lot of our furniture comes from them but no future furniture of ours will. i think that people who shop here are more price-driven and that’s certainly me. but in the future, i will have to go by reputation and quality before price. I actually have a 3 inch scar on my foot from a chair that had a screw sticking out of it. so, after adding the $ 120 for a tetanus shot, the table wasn’t all that cheap. it does look pretty good for the most part. otherwise, the stuff we buy there is cheaply made. one time i had to return an item within the return limit and the lady wouldn’t let me because it was a rug… accessories are not allowed. however, there was no sign about it at all. the rug was 100% new — i didn’t even take it out of the pkg, my wife just didn’t like it. finally she just charged me a 30%(or so) restocking charge. i asked her if i could just restock it for her since it was about 20 feet away and she just said no. that was our latest and final purchase.

I needed furniture. I didn’t want to spend a fortune. Yet, I didn’t want to spend my money on something that would just fall apart after several years. Cue Weekends Only. I found my bed and my sofa here. All for approximately $ 700. The bed cost actually more than the sofa, but that’s because I believe in a plush, comfortable bed. The sofa cost a little over $ 200…it was the last one there, and it is gorgeous. It was a great deal. Delivery is $ 49 if you’re buying a bed, $ 69 if you buying furniture. Quick delivery… they were in and out in 20 minutes. It is a contracted delivery company. There is also an option to move it yourself. They keep costs down because they’re only open from Friday to Sunday, but they are open certain hours on Monday for you to move the furniture you bought if that’s what you choose. They have an excellent source of discontinued/clearance items, really marked down in some instances. I’m now on the lookout for a desk. As with the rest of the stock, it moves fast. So if you don’t find what you are looking for, just come back another weekend. The staff does work on commission, so some of they can be pushy, but I’ve gotten to know some staff members here who are truly excellent and will go the extra mile for you. PS. They are owned by the same company that owns Ashley Furniture, but I recommend them over Ashley’s because their prices are cheaper… and they have a bigger variety.
