I am female and would not use the services of a chain salon with high turn over and people that are new to the profession for my long hair. I think people that expect a $ 50 cut at a place that charges $ 13(or sometimes $ 6.99 with coupon) are not being realistic. However, my husband and son regularly use this Great Clips location and always have good results. No appointment needed and the wait is usually short. The stylists are generally friendly and know how to do basic men/boys haircuts. The only complaint is that sometimes we get a stylist that reeks of cigarette smoke which is unpleasant.

I’m disappointed. I went in for a trim and said multiple times that I only want a quarter of an inch cut off. He cut off about three quarters of an inch Instead. I was very specific! I’m trying to grow my hair so there went all my growth since my last trim. This isn’t even the worst of it. I had a beautiful hemline with long layers and now it looks like a uneven hack job. My hemline is jagged, with a chunk of it missing on the left side where rick was, trying to do face framing? I don’t know what?! I’m devastated. If you people aren’t completely capable of doing what the customer asks Here is a thought. DONT put your scissors to their hair! Now I’m going to spend more money trying to even it out around my face and spend the next two months making no progress. I’m devastated.

This location of Great Clips is… well… it’s great. They are rarely ever busy and it’s a brand new store. They sit in the Bowie Commons on Fairview Blvd in Fairview. The location is very convenient as it is near the center of town right next to the brand new Publix supermarket. Snappy’s Pizza and the Jade Wok are also in the same strip. You could get a haircut, grab some groceries, then pick up a pizza or some Asian cuisine if your heart so desires. I’ve been here twice and always left with a dapper doo. Upon each visit I was immediately greeted and seated. It’s cheap, fast, and the hair stylists are polite. What more could you ask for from a $ 13.00 haircut?
