Karen Sturges is great! I have know her for years and she always can be counted on to give an excellent haircut and color services. She is well trained and is the rare stylist who continues her training to become a leader in her field. She is also a trainer to other stylists in coloring techniques. I highly recommend her!

Kim (owner) has been doing my hair for over 8 years now. She is a color expert! She has taken me from long to short, red to brown, light to dark and back again. The salon is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing. I am very thankful to have found such a skilled stylist who is also so very enjoyable to be around. I always look forward to my appointments.

When you move to a new city, one of the most difficult things to find is a good stylist. I had been through about 10 in the Troutdale area, which were mostly mediocre before I made my visit to Kim at Mélange in Fairview. My hair was recovering from one of the «bad» hairstylists and Kim immediately started evaluating my hair and personality in terms of what would work best for me and my lifestyle. She was very professional, low key but wanting to make sure my hair was just right. I have been going to her ever since. The salon itself is quiet, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
