Portland, OR
Libraries are amazing places. Even in the most cultural lacking areas they are a beacon of knowledge and community. On my quest to visit all the libraries in the Multnomah county system I went to Fairview. This library is pretty small and it’s in a weird building (most of downtown Farview is occupied by this style of building). It’s not a destination library but it serves it’s purpose.

I live in Clackamas county, but they were really cool about giving me the dual library card here. I thought the Hoodland branch library was small, but this is a small library too.
I was on my way to Sayler’s and forgot to print the coupon they used to run during the week, where you got $ 10 off a dinner, so I thought I’d pop in here, use the computer and print it out. I did have to wait for about 15 minutes for a computer, but that flies by in a library. They were very nice and I ended up checking books out for a trip i was taking.
