California Cobbler’s Shoe Repair

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY ARE CRAP!!! I got a pair of boots for Christmas. I took them in and asked that they expand them by 1.5″ and put a zipper in them. They wanted $ 100. I got them back (after two weeks) and he had only put a zipper in them. I told him this was wrong and he needed to put 1.5″ of leather in to make them big enough. He wanted another $ 45. I told him he was going to do it for free and after arguing and making a big scene, he gave up and said he would fix it for free. another two weeks went by and I got them. HE PUT BLACK LEATHER SPACING IN MY BROWN LEATHER BOOTS!!! WTF!!! I told him he’d lost my business and left. Now, after wearing them for the second time, THE ZIPPER DETACHED!!! I no longer live in the area, so he wants me to mail them to him and he’ll fix them. F*** that. I’m taking them somewhere where I live now. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Poor workmanship. After wearing my boots one time after new soles applied they unglued! Had to pay another shoe repair shop to fix them.
