We love their food and their dirty margaritas are to die for!

GREAT food and service. A little worried as we drove up. Don’t worry about it the place is clean and friendly. A lot of food and good drinks. I will go back and take the family for sure.

We were in our van literally RIGHT OUTSIDE the door waiting. There were others waiting in front of us. Some fat nasty guy who said he worked there and was his day off told the hostess to scratch our name off after we waited patiently for 45 minutes! The other patrons were telling us he was a dick to and to tell the hostess but we left. Why waste more time. Have fun with your own dbag employees!

If you leave here without having their chamoy margarita you have failed at life! I have a few friends that live in Fallbrook and I knew that Estrella’s is a destination place. You can feel how much this place is adored once you walk in. Packed with delicious smelling food and huge margs! An expansion is needed but, they do such a great job making you feel like #1. I didn’t have any food, but my margarita was something that will most likely never be topped.

This place is sooo bomb. Right down the street from my work, so we order lunch from here at least once a week. I’m fully addicted to their cheese enchiladas. Their rice and beans are amazing, I might have to start ordering extra on the side, mmmm… their homemade flour chips are super delicious and melt in your mouth! ON POINT!!!

The BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had! When I say Mexican food I mean REAL Mexican food, not your bland Americanized kind of Mexican food. Every time I come to eat here, I’m never disappointed. Service is great and food is amazing. The queso fundido is an absolute delicious starter and the fajitas are beyond amazing. Not too greasy or overcooked, made just perfect! Desserts are just as tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Mexican or even a yummy margarita!

I came here for lunch yesterday and had a great meal. I had Chicken Enchiladas Suizas and loved everything. I’ve never had a basket of chips that had a combination of both flour tortilla chips and corn tortilla chips. They were great and so was the salsa. The verde enchilada sauce on the Enchilada Suizas was excellent. It was spicy, tangy, and delicious. Even the rice and beans were great.
I didn’t have a chance to get a margarita, but will next time. By the way, this place is VERY small, so come at an off time or in a small party.

The most delicious Mexican food in Fallbrook. We especially love their Chamoy margaritas and chicken fajitas. You have to try it!

This is the best Mexican food in Fallbrook, Carlsbad, and Oceanside. My friend and I loved I loved the food! We had chicken fajitas, soup, chips, and salsa. The chips are house made and the food tastes fresh and delicious. I am coming back very soon. It’s always busy so come at a low time such as 8pm.

The food is amazing here! The whole family love Estrella’s:) it’s our favorite spot to eat at in town. There alcohol beverages are delicious as well. Michelada’s and Margaritas are a must try!

Cute little family run place. My friend prefers the original smaller location, so we went there for lunch on Saturday. Had to wait a bit since it was crowded, but well worth it. I had the shredded chicken tostada and she had the fajitas. Large servings and I had enough to take back for lunch on Sunday. Had a «medium» Margarita… and it was as big as my head. Glad I wasn’t driving :-)

Just wanted to update my review.
My mom and I come here almost every Friday and have not been disappointed once.
These are the dishes we stand by:
Chipotle quesadilla. So huge! We always share.
Rib eye steak. Marinated so well! Cooked to perfection.
Chamoy Margarita. Not too strong but delicious!
Shrimp chimichanga. It’s appetizer size but real yummy!
Fajitas suprema. Cannot go wrong.
So so good! Their chips and salsa is what keeps me coming back! We are huge fans!

Wonderful food. Chips to die for. Loved the carnitas. Loved the beans. Salsa was great.

I’ve been coming here for years. The BEST thing about Estrella’s are their margaritas. They have so many varieties that you just have to them all to determine your favorite. Food wise, it is okay but is better than most places. Their enchiladas are to DIE for… The only downside for them is the parking lot is kinda small and sometimes you have to wait a while to get a table.

Great salsas, yes they have a hotter one so be sure to ask. They give you both corn and flour chips which is a nice change. Carnitas plate was excellent, it wasn’t fatty at all which surprised me. It’s nice to get some real service too. I don’t love their menu, the ala carte prices are high, and it’s hard to order a variety without rice and beans in tow.

Visited Estrella’s yesterday. Ordered the tacos Emelda one chicken and one steak. The tacos were HUGE and the plate comes with rice and beans. The steak was super delicious but the spicy chipotle sauce is what put it over the top. The chicken one was a little dry so not as good, but I woke up this morning thinking about getting another steak one so …
The service was so-​so and the place is super small but the waiter was awesome to my kid. She asked if he needed a highchair, showed me the kid’s meals and brought his drink in a plastic cup with a straw and a lid without me asking.
The flour chips and salsa were a bit of a surprise but not bad. We’ll be back.

The chips are amazing I will give them that. They are fluffy flour fried tortilla chips. They’re delicious.
The entrees. Not so much. It’s like they were trying too hard to pack too much into one thing. My husband ordered enchiladas and when he received his order there were peas in them… Who puts peas in enchiladas? Also we ordered queso for the chips thinking it was going to be like a dip… It was ground meat with a sprinkling of melted cheese over the top. ⁹⁰⁄₁₀ meat to cheese. My quesadilla was filled with bell peppers, onions, and other things I wouldn’t have expected in a quesadilla, and was dripping with grease.
The manager did kindly take off the queso from our bill, since that wasn’t what we were expecting. They’re customer service wasn’t bad… Just need to maybe simplify a few things! Too much packed in there won’t make it amazing food

This place has amazing flavors. Im not big on Mexican food but Fallbrook Motors recommended it and my wife was craving Mexican so I went with it. I had a half shrimp, half steak burrito, very delicious and my wife had a Tostada bowl but substitute with shrimp and chipotle sauce on the side.
There are a few minor things that made me rate 4 stars instead of five. I ordered a burrito half shrimp, half steak. Anywhere else I have done half in half you get both ingredients as you eat. Well I had about ¾ of a steak burrito and ¼ of the burrito was shrimp and they were completely separated, meaning I never got a piece of shrimp as I was eating steak. As you can imagine, I was almost done with the burrito when I finally found a shrimp, so this was pretty disappointing as I was eating throughout my meal since I started on the steak side. Another thing was we ordered a little Chipotle sauce on the side. Since when do people charge for a little sauce on the side? $ 1.30 for it. Heck in most Mexican joints, the sauces are all out free for the taking, so this threw me off a bit but not a biggy, hence 4 stars.
If I am ever in the area I WILL be coming back because this place is great and the food was beyond delicious. :). Try it!

Great food and customer service! Average pricing.
A bit small in there but we have been going to ‘Estrellas’ since they were in Bonsall. (The only reason we We have not gone as much anymore is because of the size of the place.)
Their flower chips are the best and their drinks are bomb as well!
There will most likely be a wait time every time you go, but it will sure be worth it! Highly recommend to everyone.
