Friends of the Fallbrook Library

I spent about 15 minutes in this bookstore yesterday. I selected 4 books, but my phone rang so I stepped outside to tell my husband I would call him back. I opened the door to go back in to pay, only to have an old lady rush toward me, swinging her hand at me to shoo me away. She said «we close at 4′ and pulled the door shut as I stood there at the threshold. I was stunned.
I went back to my car which was on the lower parking level, and when it started, the time popped up: 3:58. I checked my phone: 3:58.
I live in Murrieta, so it’s not like I can just drop in tomorrow. There was a book there by the LADWP on tree selection for drought… we are ready to redo the backyard and i really wanted that book. I’m pretty much hating on the Fallbrook «Friends» of the Library right now.

A great place to donate books and to purchase donated books. What a wonderful way of recycling and raising funds for causes. Keep up the good work.
