Main Street Cafe

I love using this app because it helps me find places to eat, in areas that I don’t know at all.
I found this little spot and decided to check it out. The service was fast, the food was AMAZING and it was easy to find. If you want a delicious breakfast and also support small local diners, this is the place xoxo

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was on point as well. Located in beautiful down town Fallbrook, makes this a must when your in town.

Was taking a quick trip to Fallbrook this morning with my pug in tow. Got hungry and found this place on Unilocal.Great fresh food and service. Sat outside with my pug and he was given a bowl of ice water and a sausage. We were both content and happy and felt welcome.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am with the manager and one of the waitresses that works there. Long story short… I was dehydrated at the Avocado festival. I ended up fainting in this café and the manager and waitress were so kind to help me feel better. I will never forget their kindness and customer service. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So I walk into Dennys with my beautiful wife and low and behold the power is out and they aren’t serving anyone today. As you can imagine I was feeling a bit bummed especially as I was on my honeymoon. My wife quickly found a place down the street and it was main street café. I’ve never been so happy a buildings power went out! This café is a goldmine! A gem hidden amongst little stores. The place has a very homey small town kind of feel with street signs and old ads on the walls, the serving staff is very friendly and quick to get you taken care of. First looking at the menus I was surprised to see that it was a Greek place. Considering its a Greek place I quickly ordered a gyro and my wife ordered a Belgium waffle. As far as the gyro, HOLY SMOKES! One of the best that I have ever had! I couldn’t believe how good it was, not only was it incredibly delicious it comes as super cheap and is very filling! They definitely don’t go small on portions! The Belgium waffle (which my wife was ever so kind to allow me to taste) was also extremely good. There maple super is home made tasting and delicious and there waffles are soft without being soggy, the food was out in less than 15 minutes and was hot. The servers kept up with our drinks and quickly cleared the table. The place was well priced and I even thought underpriced for the quality of food they provide. Highly recommended for any who love that small town store and hot delicious food!

My favorite Café in all of Fallbrook! The Owner and staff are nice and friendly everytime. Happy staff equals happy customers. Everything on the menu is awesome. Wish they were open fir Dinner. The Best!

Sarah was awesome from the time we stepped in the door. She immediately greeted us at the door with a smile, sat us immediately and gave perfect time for us to order drinks and food. The food was amazing and they give very generous portions. We will be back tomorrow :)

I been here a couple of times for breakfast. Planning on making this my regular place for breakfast on weekends. Coffee is pretty good and so is the food. Huevos rancheros for me. Service is excellent. Looking forward to my next visit to try their corned beef hash.

Omfg… Is all I was left to say after eating here today.
My bf and I just checked out of our hotel (in SD) about 15 mins from here and found this place on Unilocal of course. We didn’t want to go sit down at the typical Denny’s or IHOP. This place is simply amazing! It’s so cute and old. The people are very nice and respectful. Not like you average boring waitress. Everyone looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. You can tell they are close in not related. It was full of white people, we were the only black people in there and normally when we are in places like this we feel uncomfortable and get treated slightly different. We didn’t feel that way at all. So the service alone was great!

Everything was fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious! I can go on & on. It was perfect. It literally taste like what you would make in your kitchen. No restaurant taste, just pure amazingness lol
We will definitely be back here and hopefully have more people with us to share the experience

We go here at least once a week and we love it! Great service, wonderful people and great food. We have been going here for a couple years now and have never been disappointed!

Soooo yummy! And so close! I’m mad it took me this long to try this wonderful place. Ordered the eggs Benedict and Rib Eye steak and eggs! Everything was wonderful!

Went there day after Thanksgiving. One thing I should’ve insisted upon was to add my name to the waitlist, as there was none when I called.
Service was fast and food was excellent! Best «well-​done» hash browns that the wife and I have ever tasted. Greek Omelette was superb and hot. Wife’s scrambled eggs and pancakes were hot and tasty.

Had the southern skillet today with toast! So good and a huge portion. Being from the south I was please fly surprised with there food. Tastes like home!

Fallbrook has some great diners and this one is no exception. I should know because I grew up here! Main Street Café took over what used to be Wayside Café (I had some great memories from that place). I wasn’t sure if I was going to like eating here since I was so attached to the former restaurant, but the food definitely did not disappoint. My waitress was super nice and attentive and even though it was busy the morning I came to eat, my food came out hot and ready for me.
Everyone here (both the regulars and employees) were so happy and talkative that it made the ambiance just a little bit more special. FYI, this place is really small, which may be taxing for larger parties but really, you got to come here once just to see how cute and homey it looks inside. There is also outdoor seating available if you prefer.
P. S.: Try the skillets. They are amazing and well-​worth the price.

The service is great. Food comes it large protions. Their quick to please their customers ever way possible. The food here is excellent. Nothing compared to your local Dennis. Stay away from franchise and corporate changes. If you live in Fallbrook support your local small businesses.

Main Street Café has always been good. The burgers are something to brag about, I like the bbq burger, and the breakfast items are always satisfying. The bacon is really good; On my visit, I really enjoyed the two eggs and bacon plate. Also, I over did it and ordered the french toast. It was a large order and I do not regret it. It’s a small restaurant that has one bathroom for everyone. I usually make sure to go before I arrive because there is usually one person waiting. There is parking behind the restaurant if you can’t find parking in the front. It is parking for the restaurant and the other shops; Heritage Square parking it will say. Also, the restaurant has a tiny pie display and a bar that seats three. It’s good food, only open til 2:30pm.

I’m into it! Since the bestie lives in Fallbrook I frequent a few joints in town but hadn’t been to this one yet. We (me, the bf, the bestie and her hubster and a visiting ninja they know) rolled in at about 9am on a Saturday with no wait at all and we’re placed on the deck. Luckily, it wasn’t too hot yet.
The menu has typical café items and they make perfect eggs. Our table order a range from poached to an omelet and everything was done correctly. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon, yum!
Our table was a bit cramped but other than that, I was pretty happy with it. They stack up the jelly like ballers too, hot sauce and condiments for days to doctor your eggs too.
