Cute little thrift store. The people are incredibly nice and helpful, and they have cute little interesting knick-​knacky sort of stuff. Haven’t seen much furniture, but I found some excellent christmas decorations super cheap during July of all months. And they always have the best second hand frames!

While the cashier was wonderfully pleasant and very kind to myself and my young daughter, this place is pretty disorganized. There aren’t any great deals as the offerings, while inexpensive, are very dated and in worn condition. This applies to the books as well. Things just need to be neater and not so packed into the small space. I bought a few things for my daughter but nothing remarkable or worth returning for.

I’ve found the best stuff at this thrift store– from an antique ‘sulfate of quinine’ tin to a vintage beret. Gaggles of old people live and die in this little town and the cool ones leave their stuff to St. John’s! (I’ve suggested this quote be put on t-​shirts and sold at the store, for some reason the women behind the counter were not amused.)
