Tasty flatbreads and good vegetarian options, fast service too! I would go back if I were to stay at the Marriott again. I would skip the chocolate torte.

While I don’t choose my hotels for the attached restaurants, if I did, Marriott Falls Church wouldn’t be anywhere close to the top of my list. I have never been motivated to write a Unilocal review, much less a negative one, during a meal — but I will own up to drafting this while we ate. Service here is abysmal at best. The food was average, we waited 35 minutes for two appetizers, and our waiter never came back to refill our water. For the first time in his life, my boyfriend did not leave a tip. 0⁄10 would not recommend, unless you’re in the mood for mediocre food, small portions, and terrible service.

Ordered room service pizza from this restaurant. Pizza was completely burnt and inedible. Not worth the 14 dollars.

This Restaurant/Bar is located in the lobby of the hotel that I am staying in. I was hungry so I decided to check them out. First the service. The server I had was incredibly friendly and attentive. They were quick about fixing my drink and the speed of the preparation of my meal was satisfactory. Second the food. I ordered meatloaf with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy. The food of course came with fried onions and carrots on top of the food. The meatloaf was delicious, so was the fried onions served on top. However I thought the mashed potatoes were a disappointment. The taste wasn’t the problem, it was the fact that the potatoes were too lumpy. I can deal with most cooking errors but I don’t like lumpy potatoes! That is the reason why I gave this place a 4 star review instead of a 5. There are some other good things about this place. They have a full bar and they make fantastic mixed drinks. I had a vodka martini a few minutes ago and it was fantastic! Most of the mixed drinks were between $ 8 to $ 16. Besides the mixed drinks they had pretty decent wine selection. For all you coffee fans there is some good news for all you guys. This Restaurant serves Starbucks coffee! I’m not making this up seriously! In short this place serves good food, mixed drinks and very convenient if you are spending a night at the Marriott. But they are not cheap!

I checked in late to the hotel and went in to grab a table at 9 pm for a simple dinner. Service was exceptionally slow. They had a fair number of business people blowing off steam and it felt like the table for one was not important. If the service stunk and the food was good I could have handled it. The menu is all over the place. A little eastern shore(crab cakes) a little Asian, and a little Mediterranean. I had the«Mediterranean trio»(red pepper hummus, eggplant, and an olive salad). The hummus was a bit watery and the olive salad was a salty mess. Throw I in a weak, slightly corked Sauvignon Blanc and I went to bed disappointed.

It’s a hotel restaurant /bar. I normally sit at the bar watching TV while eating lunch or catching up with co-workers for couple of drinks. I love their grilled salmon which was fantastic; well seasoned sauce, grilled to perfection and tender asaparagus(not overcooked). Corn chowder with crab meat is also very delicious and has tons of crab unlike some other places. It is served with moist corn bread. yummy. I don’t recommend their salmon salad. It is totally drenched in sauce and cannot consider this a healthy option. Their sandwiches are pretty good as well. I like atmosphere and simple walking distance from my office.

There are so many great bars in the DC area that when you are staying at this hotel there is no need to eat at this place. Maybe I was just having an off night, but I was not impressed. I was staying at the hotel for a «staycation» and went down for dinner. First they have a decent wine selection. Prices were average for the DC area, verging on high, but it is a hotel so I expect that. I had a the mid-range Pinot Noir and it was pretty decent. I don’t know if it was because DC went from zero degree temps to 50 degree temps on one day, but the bar was extremely hot, even hotter after my glass of wine. I would have had a second if I wasn’t so hot. I ordered the crab and corn chowder for an appetizer. It was pretty tasteless, I added salt and pepper which I rarely add to anything. I had to let it cool down though for a good 5 minutes before you could really taste it because it was burning hot. I then ordered some kind of salmon salad. The salmon was tasteless and so was the dressing on the salad. Overall I was just very disappointed. My last complaint is that they had FOX dramas playing with sound while playing music. Pick one, and if you are going to play sound on the tv at least pick the NFL playoffs and not«Bones». The biscuit that came with the soup was good :)

All I ordered was clam chowder and it took at least 15 minutes. I am confused how soup that is listed on the menu can take this long.

We had breakfast here which featured a choice of a buffet,(both hot and cold) as well as ordering from the menu. I had a mexican egg dish which turned out to be excellent. The service was good and the restaurant had a nice, quiet ambiance. I want to try dinner here as the menu look intriguing, especially the shrimp and grits! Will be back, soon!
