I was up north for a day trip with my step mom and we wanted to get some phở. We were getting some banh mi at Banh Mi DC sandwich when one of the employees recommend Phở 79 to us. We were honna drive to Eden center but since this place was around the coner we decided to give it a try. My step mom is from Veitman so shes naturally very critical when it come to phở. Its your standard soup house setting, large long tables that have all your sauces and utensils laid out. They have two bowl sizes you can get regular or large we went with the regular size which was still large. Our soup came out very quickly and it was so good. This place beats any Phở shop in Richmomd by miles. Seriously one of the best soups I’ve had ever and my step mom agreed. The broth was the magic to the soup and they gave us plenty of meat. The flank steak was a color perfect and not too fatty. This is a CASH only restaurant for dinners beware!

Cash only! Had the #17(Phở Ga) — very yummy broth. I was disappointed that there were no crispy spring rolls to be had. If you’re looking for anything other than phở, this isn’t the place to go. But if you want a piping hot bowl of phở in less than 5 minutes, can’t beat it!

I wouldn’t recommend coming here for the service or the atmosphere, but the phở is on a-whole-nother level. Everyone knows the broth is the most important part of the phở. With that being said I’m very particular when it comes to phở, considering growing up my mom made it every Saturday. Needless to say, I’ve found my phở away from home(sorry mom). I usually load my bowl up with all the fixin: hoison sauce, sriracha, bean sprouts, mint leaves, etc. but with Phở 75, I hold back quite a bit with the hoison sauce because I find there’s plenty of flavor already. But like I said before, don’t come here expecting to get great service. These older folks are quick to serve and quick to get you out as well. They’re almost borderline rude, but ya just keep coming back for some moe phở!

Phở here is 4 stars because the soup was was yummy and over all taste was delicious. They gave us decent size dish of bean sprouts and armed happy to bring out extra onions per our request. The bowls came out with lots of sliced meats and soup was piping hot! They were very busy although the wait was not long.

The busiest restaurant on January 1st of every year. Why? Because some may say it’s the cure for everything, including hangovers! Being a Falls Church native, I find this Phở restaurant to be one of the go-to place for when you need a phở-fix. The pricing is still a bit of a bargain compared to other places in the area. Another favorite item I like to get at Phở 75 is their Vietnamese coffee(café sua da). Unlike Phở Sate, they still provide the drip coffee right in front of you, rather than premixing before arriving your table — it’s quite an experience! As always, I like to order EVERYTHING you could possible put in your bowl of phở. My go-to: Phở dac biet bo vien is always the best here(phở with combination meat — all of the meat — and their special meatball!). During all of my visits to Phở 75, what always stood out to me is that all of the phở bowls that come out are PIPINGHOT! This is especially enjoyable during the cold winter. The only time I may hesitate to go here is when I do not have cash in hand. Yes, this location is still cash only! ATM provided for a fee at the back of the restaurant.

If there’s one thing I know it’s when I taste damn good phở and Phở 75 is a staple of northern Virginia. The menu is incredibly simple, only offering phở with different cuts of meat and beverages. The key to making good phở is letting the broth simmer for hours on end, and it’s evident that Phở 75 focuses all their attention on perfecting the most delicious and famous Vietnamese. Although nothing will ever compare to my mom’s homemade phở, it comes in a close second place and has the best phở for diners to experience a taste of Vietnam.

Quick service, but Phở 75 gets very busy especially on weekends. I came here twice while we were in DC and both times we had to wait at least 15 minutes for a table. Don’t get intimidated by the wait or long line though! They are very efficient. Pretty authentic typical Vietnamese place with cheap prices! A regular bowl is $ 6.95 and a large is $ 7.95. The menu is very simple, with about 17 different phở’s of just different meat cuts. You can also buy che and Viet coffee. Not suitable for vegans or vegetarians… Remember your cash!

I enjoy going to Phở 75. I think it’s probably the best phở in the area. Make sure you bring cash, since they do not accept credit cards. The broth, noodles and meat are always great. I usually get tendon and flank in my phở. Their ice coffee is great. I would say their service what holds them back. I don’t expect amazing service when I go to eat phở but I would like my water glass to be refilled throughout my meal. If you are up for phở, Phở 75 would be my first choice always.

This place is probably one of the best known phở places in Nova. Very busy on weekends. Cash only. Perfect for 4 people. I come with my family whenever I’m back from college. They don’t have the best of service but they aren’t completely rude either. It is a fast paced restaurant so get your orders ready and order quickly. The food comes out quick and hot. Ask for steamed bean sprouts so it doesn’t cool off your soup. Try their desserts as well. Corn pudding is my favorite. You can also order carry out and they will give you a lot. I heard that the iced coffee was pretty good, but I don’t drink coffee. It’s pretty strong so my mom asks for an extra cup so she can divide it into two. Taste is alright.

This place never disappoint for all the years I’ve been going here. Friendly service, fast and efficient, cheap, and the phở is delicious. Noodles to meat ratio is good, not like others where you have a bunch of noodles left but no meat. And the broth is flavorful! Their menu only consists of phở, but because it’s a specific menu… They execute their phở well! Btw, cash only. I believe they have an ATM machine in there with an ATM fee.

10⁄10 As a Viet person, this is the best place. Kreygasm. I have tried other places and their broth was too watery or too sweet. WutFace. Phở 75 though. PogChamp. My parents drive 30 minutes out to eat phở here instead of crappy ones around the neighborhood. That says something. 4Head. Merry Christmas. KappaClaus.

This phở restaurant is the one that I would bring most of my guests visiting from out of town or recommend. Their portion is great, tastes good, and they’re cheap. Also if you haven’t been here before, they only accept cash which is not too much of a big deal for me. I would suggesting coming here a little before or after the lunch/dinner rush as there’s frequently a line out the door.

Getting here can sometimes be a bit of a struggle, as it’s located at the corner of a busy intersection. The parking lot is small and often congested and the restaurant itself could use some cleaning and upkeep. In terms of taste and quality this place is one of the better phở restaurants in the area. I always order phở with slices of eye-round steak; the meat is tender and the broth is served hot and has a great depth of flavor. The staff are quick to take your order and serve you your food, but they’re often abrupt and sometimes even a little rude. Overall, I’d gladly revisit Phở 75 for the food, but not so much the environment.

This is the closest Phở to my house that I enjoy coming. It’s cash only so remember to bring some. It’s one of the many branches of Phở 75 that you can find within the DC area. It’s your typical phở restaurant where you get most of the cafeteria style tables and a few 4 tops. If you come during the lunch rush there’s a high chance you will end up sitting close to someone else. I try to come only after the lunch/dinner rush. They do close early so keep that in mind. They are done by 8pm and if you show up at 7.45 you better chow down your food fast. Even if there’s a long line, the crowd typically move fast so you won’t have to end up waiting long. Phở is great comfort food when it’s cold outside. Something about warm broth just makes the day better. There’s plenty of meat combination here and the broth is on point. Most places when you end up adding all of your ingredient the broth gets a little weak but not here, it’s always perfect. Also if you haven’t figure it out yet. Phở is a great hangover food ! Oh and if you are here give the Vietnamese ice coffee a try if you haven’t had it before. Most south east Asian countries serve their ice coffee using condense milk so it comes pre sweeten. YUM ! I also really like their coffee here as they use the mini drip so you get a fresh cup everytime. It’s also served in a small quantity and you can add more hot water/ice to dilute it, but the best way to drink your coffee is strong !

Have come here many times… seriously the BEST hangover cure. Almost always at least a 10−15min wait though(at least on Saturdays between 10am-3pm). Sometimes the line even goes out the door! Have been so hungry that some people will even go next door and buy a banh mi to eat while waiting in line… Atmosphere: — Long cafeteria-style tables, you will likely share a table with another party — Loud and kinda dim, but high ceilings so doesn’t feel that stuffy — Always crowded… fairly fast turnover too so people are always getting up/sitting down Service: — Since it’s so busy once the waiter takes your order it’s pretty hard to flag them down agian if you want to add stuff/make changes — CASHONLY! Have to wait in line at the register to pay; you don’t pay at your table Food: — #1 regular: So much yum. Broth is flavorful and portion sizes are huge(I can never finish even 1 bowl). Noodles are nice and chewy. Not the best quality meat, but enough of it and at these prices I’m not complaining. — Coconut water: holy crap you must get this. Especially if hungover. The most refreshing drink ever, and not too sweet. I’ve downed 2 of these in 10 minutes. — Vietnamese coffee: have had both iced and hot. Good and strong! Though I wish there was less condensed milk; it can get pretty sweet if you use all of it. Overall despite the not-so-great atmosphere/service, this place always satisfies my phở cravings at pretty cheap prices($ 7 per regular bowl, $ 3 per drink). Definitely recommend!

The best phở in the area. Very authentic and very quick. They only have phở on the menu and the line is always out the door. The broth is amazing and always fresh. Love coming here when I don’t mind waiting a little to be sat.

The best phở place around the DMV area. They serve one thing, and one thing only … PHO. No spring rolls appetizers here! I like places that specialize in one thing, if you do that one item right, i’ll be coming back! The broth has no MSG and is extremely tasty compared to other phở places around the area. The side ingredients(lime, basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos) are fresh. I am a meat lover, and they give you a ton of meat! No need to order extra meat! I usually finish my meat before the noodles at other phở places, but not this one. This place is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside if needed. There’s plenty of parking. Great spot for lunch, do come early, because they get busy fast.

The quintessential Vietnamese Phở place of Northern VA that literally every Vietnamese person has been to. The phở there is consistently excellent even by Viet standards and for good reason. They know how to make good Phở. The bowls come out very, very quickly, and are always delicious. A fair warning to non-regulars, the workers there are very fast-paced and pushy, so they might get impatient if you take too long to make an order. Usually when my family eats there, a waiter comes within two minutes to take our order because they assume you already know what you want. Phở 75 is also Cash Only and you pay up front, so PSA for all newcomers. Service/employees aside, this place is a five-star purely because of the quality of the food. You can’t beat Phở 75 for premium Vietnamese phở. Ask any NoVA Viet person, and they’ll tell you the same!

Seriously one of the best phos I have ever tried. They only sell phở here(no appetizers or other dishes). Also, they only take cash at this place and this restaurant was packed. This goes to show you how good their phở is. The meat was so flavorful and different than any other place I have ever tried. You have to try their meatballs. I don’t know what they put in it, but it had such a deep delicious flavor. I made sure I ate every bite and now I found my go-to phở place.

After living in the NoVA area my whole life and trying a good amount of Phở places, this place is still my favorite. This place serves the best phở and at certain times there is usually a line for tables. You can not always judge a restaurant from the line, but that is certainly not the case here. This place is the bomb. First off this restaurant does not serve anything else besides Phở. As other people mentioned there are no appetizers or other entrees on the menu. So come in prepared to eat Phở. They have a variety of different types of Phở you can get, I usually get the Phở Tai with meatballs, sometimes changing it up to #1 with a Café Sua da. The service is fast and they give you more food than the other phở places I have been to. This places always leaves me satisfied and is well worth the 20 minute drive for me. Being from the Springfield area, there are plenty of phở places around but nothing compares to this place. This place is CASHONLY! However, if you did not know that or simply forgot to bring cash they have a ATM conveniently located in the back of the restaurant. Parking here can be hard at certain times, it is a private lot but it gets crowded quickly on the weekends. Décor is simple and casual for a simple meal. I highly recommend this place and if you are a fan of Phở, you should definitely give this place a go.
