We were looking for a quick sandwich place and decided to stop here. We were very pleasantly surprised. There are tons of options and there are even some lighter fare choices. Our servers were very friendly and the waiting time was minimal. The sandwiches were some of the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this eating establishment!

I’m a huge fan of their hot sandwiches! Good service and tasty, good quality food(I frequent the 45th st location) — a great place to grab a quick bite on your lunch hour!

Ordered a sandwich at 12:45. Lots of people running around looking busy but no sandwich for 20 min. Unimpressed.

I was in Fargo for work and came across this little gem. I’m from Denver and always looking for quality food establishments. This far exceeded my expectations. The cashier was very nice and had a great conversation with me. The food is awesome. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. You can build your own hot or cold sandwich with quality ingredients. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.

Interesting sandwich combinations. If I lived around here I would make it my goal to try everyone of them. I also had their Green Chili soup. If I was at home with this I would be putting a dollop of sour cream in it and then eating it with chips or tortillas. Think shredded beef with lots of green chilies in it. Very flavorful and tasty. Side salads are good also but the bowls they use require concentration to not put more of it on the table than in your mouth. Overall a little pricey but definitely good.

I walked in not knowing what to expect. The workers were very friendly, but not too intrusive. As for the food, the sandwich I had was flavorful and filling. Leaving full can sometimes be a rarity among sandwich shops, but not here. I was surprised to find out this is a chain restaurant, as it feels very local.

Love this place, my new favorite sandwich shop. Bread was soft and fresh and so were the ingredients

They can never seem to get my order right no matter how many times I come in. I’m always missing the avocado or onions or ranch or whatever but it’s always something. Or it’s the entirely wrong sandwich. Not cool.

Decent enough place, but the salad was put together in an odd way. Bacon was pellets of bacon bits. Soups pretty good. Prices a bit high.

The food is fresh with some unique twists to their sandwiches and wraps. I love a Mighty Mo for lunch(think sloppy joe, minus the sloppy, piled high with fresh GREEN lettuce, red tomatoes and banana peppers on a sub style baguette). Just tried El Rancho for breakfast today and it was a fantastic, spicy take on your standard breakfast burrito(really more of a breakfast wrap). The associates are very friendly and I’ve got to say this place really does leave me smiling every time!

One of my favorite places to stop for lunch. I get good customer service all the time. I usually call ahead for them to make my food so when I get there it is made and ready to go! They always have it ready within 5 – 10 minutes! Always impressed!!!

This is one of my favorite go to places. Staff is always friendly and their food is always good. I just tried the Pavalocinni(sp?) this last weekend for the first time and couldn’t believe how good it was. Also, the first time I went there someone recommended the Tomato Basil soup to me. It is the weirdest looking tomato basil soup I’ve ever seen, but OMG it’s awesome!!! I get it almost every time I’m there. Otherwise my go to is the Reuben. it is huge… and delicious! You won’t be disappointed!

What a great place for a sandwich and soup. Had the NYC roast beef and it was awesome! Hubby had the hot Italian and also was great. The bread is amazing! Worth the stop in fargo

I love the smiling moose! I’ve never had a bad experience at either location in Fargo. Lots and lots of possible toppings and condiments. Great wheat bread and vegetable soup. I love the hot and cold sandwiches. Plus, they have a Rewards Card. I’ve already gotten 2 free large sandwiches and I don’t even go more than once or twice per month!

The Mighty MO is mighty delicioso. People will compare this place to Jimmy Johns, Erbs and Gerbs, or maybe even Quiznos. However, the truth is their ingredients and food preparation are leaps and bounds above the rest. Everything is very clean and fresh. The management truly does their best to make sure everyone is satisfied with their experience. Give the tomato bisque soup a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

A surprisingly good place for sandwiches! The ingredients are quite fresh, resulting in tasty sandwiches that are far superior to fast food and the soups are surprisingly great. The only gripe is that this place is a bit pricier than similar places(Subway, Jimmy John’s, etc), but the adage«you get what you pay for» definitely applies!

Do the build your own sandwich! They have so many options with that! I thought the salad options were a little limited, overall. It was clean, in good condition, and the food was very tasty! The staff was pretty friendly as well, although not overwhelmingly helpful.

What a great place to get fast food. Went with my family and I previously have had the Veggie Mo and hippie chic. Both are delish! My kids really liked it too and on top of it there is choices for everyone’s diverse taste buds. You can have them cater and you also can put an order in online. I ordered online tonight before coming home from work and the food was done a few minutes early. Staff is friendly!

Very friendly service and it gets crowded during lunchtime but salad or sandwich was just OK. Nothing special. My group all agreed that sandwiches here are better than Quizno’s but other than that, I don’t think it’s 5 star sandwich shop. most sandwiches are $ 8-$ 9. They do have cool Coca-cola network soda machine though.

This is an update to my previous review, in which I gave them 2 stars. At the time, I felt the price was way too high for what you got. Well, the owner sent me a message here, asking me to try it again. I had already decided I would, since any bad experience could just be a fluke. I appreciate the time he took to reach out to me and the fact that he reads the reviews here is great. So, I went back again, and got the pastrami sandwich again, with everything on it. I also ordered a bottled drink, instead of something from the fountain. They were pretty busy, but since it was a Saturday, they weren’t as busy as they normally are. After I ordered, the girl at the register gave me the credit card slip to sign and the phone rang. Once the phone rang, I was promptly ignored. I stood waiting for my receipt and bottled drink for a long while(a little less than 5 minutes) while she talked on the phone. I finally just gave up and went to join my friend at the table. When the sandwiches were delivered, I was again disappointed. Sure, I could have ordered something different, but I wanted to see if my bad experience last time was a one-shot deal. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The sandwich, again, was only about an inch thick, counting the bread. The pastrami was again, about the same quality I could get sliced for me at the deli counter in any grocery store. Overall, I can make better at home for a lower price. My friend was also very disappointed in his sandwich, for pretty much the same reason: not enough meat for the price. I really want this place to be better. Fargo has a shortage of high-quality restaurants, and this place could be great. I have heard from other restauranteurs that it costs more than usual to have food and supplies delivered to Fargo. If that’s the case, I can somewhat understand the wide rift between the price vs. what you get. But then you have to wonder if it would be cheaper to make your own pastrami. A lot of people I know like this place but, unfortunately I have been to other delis. I don’t see the big deal here. I will go again and try something different. Maybe that’s the key: Their pastrami sucks, but other things might be good. Sorry, Smiling Moose. My rating will remain unchanged for now.
