We stopped here on the way to a wedding at Sugarloaf Mountain for a late lunch. We were looking for something other than the typical fast food and this place looked like it fit the bill. The building looks like it used to be a bank. Pretty plain. But once inside it looks like a restaurant, Thankfully. We were seated quickly and drinks came right away. The wife got her usual turkey club and went for a traditional cheese burger, medium. The décor is basic family dining. The menu had a mix of fried seafood, hamburgers, club sandwiches and steak dinners. Basic diner menu. Our food came out in about 15 or 20 minutes. My burger was cooked perfectly, amazingly enough, because in most restaurants asking for medium is just a suggestion and not what actually comes to your table. The bread on both our sandwiches were toasted, nice crunch. Over all awesome burger! If the deserts were better i would have given this place five stars. I had the lemon meringue pie that just wasn’t lemony enough for me but then again i like key lime pie that blows your taste buds to the moon! Kim had a slice of toll house pie with a scoop of ice cream. I had a bite and was left wanting. The ice cream was icy like ice milk or it refroze. Either way, ahh, no. But hey, the rest was great! I would come back again! Hmmm, the last time i drove through here was thirty years ago so yah, ill be back in 2045! No wait… I’ll be dead. Sad face. :-(

Wonderful local place. Food service, very good food. Had homemade corn chowder and a lobster roll, really good! Coffee is great, too.
