PROS Good selection. From funny books, to cool candles and jewlery, to knick knacks, trinkets, and chachkes. Something for almost everyone. CONS Slightly overprices. Overall its worth a look.

For every birthday, holiday, Mother’s day, anniversary… I keep telling my children and my husband this mantra: «Just go to the Design Forum and get me anything in there. I will love it.» How’s that for a review? Unique and stunning artisanal jewelry, one-of-a-kind bags, clothing and accessories, funny unique cards and books. I get lost for hours in this place. I always end up walking out with the person I was shopping for, and at LEAST one thing for myself. It’s unique and lovely. A fantastic place to shop for the person who is difficult to shop for.

I have loved this store for years. It always has the best little gifts(for yourself and others), great cards and other unusual items. I can never just run in for something, I have to ensure that I have enough time to browse the entire shop so I don’t miss anything.

Cool«stuff», great card collection, and neat gifts! Jewelry is beautiful but super pricey. Great spot to pick up a gift for someone! Owner is nice, but a bit rough around the edges. I can see how he may rub some people the wrong way. Doesn’t seem like a bad guy though. Def going to return.

I recently stopped in this store even though I had some rude customer service in the past — or, to be more exact, no customer service. Well, this time the owner was present and it was like night and day. The salespeople who had previously sneered at me when I walked in were very anxious to help me find something now!

Yes this place in cool in that of all the knick knacks and wide variety of merchandise they have… But that being said it doesn’t give the owner the right to mark up every little thing in there. I understand it’s a «mom and pop» and I want to support them with my business but I can’t if simple things that I’ve seen in other stores are marked up almost 3x the price. Yes the owner is extremely friendly and helpful but I rather not hurt my wallet then hurt this guys feelings by taking my purchases elsewhere. My advice is lower the prices to a realistic expectation and their parking lot may be filled from time to time.

I absolutely adore this place. Unfortunately, living out of state, I don’t get to stop by as often as I used to, however; when I head back to Mom’s house, I’ll make sure to pop in for a few minutes and peruse their never-ending supply of handcrafted items. They have a little bit of everything in here; candles, CD’s, jewelry, cards, knick knacks, Native American items, house wares, etc. It’s the perfect place to purchase a unique gift for that hard to shop for person in your life.

this place is a mishmosh of all kinds of gifts/toys/décor, all packed into a small shop that’s been around for over 20 years. there’s the greeting cards/journals/address books/stationary selection, and then an aisle for baby gifts/toys/kids toys, and then an array of jewelry/sculpture/prints/metal art/wind chimes/colored glass scattered throughout the store, in addition to random gifts like worry dolls in matchstick boxes; spanish language magnetic word art(also in french); and gifts for pets/pet lovers. and THEN there’s a corner for spirituality matters(books), and a couple of aisles of cookbooks. there are discounted items in each section; just look for the handwritten signs. the guy i always see behind the counter is superfriendly and helpful, but not hovering. oh yeah, there are candles and glass robin’s eggs in a nest. SOMUCHSTUFF.
