This cute place is set in the perfect spot, and it just makes you think of an old time burger joint. We loved the burgers here, and will return to enjoy them. We tried the tater tots, regular fries, and curly fries. All were pretty good. The onion rings are huge and look really good, we will be trying those next. The burgers are really tasty. I don’t think anyone could be disappointed with this fast food type burger joint.

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. It was a chicken breast cut in half, and it didn’t even cover two-thirds of the bun.

There used to be one of these in my hometown in Oklahoma when I was a child that I used to go to, so I was surprised when I saw one after I moved to Fayetteville. I ordered the Mr. Burger and some Tots. The burger was delicious, I am craving another just thinking about it. The tots were maybe a tad overcooked, otherwise I was very happy with my food and have returned there since then.

I was in my car in line and waited 15 minutes for a coke and ice cream. No problem until I pulled up to the window and watched the employee fix 2 or 3 drinks and walk outside to serve the truck behind me. When he came to the window I asked him why they were served before me when my order was a coke and ice cream. He said«oh that’s your order.» I said«yeah why didn’t you serve me first.» He said«we changed shifts» and I said«then communicate because I’ve sat here 15 minutes.» The guy said he was sorry then told me I owed $ 4.11. I asked to speak to a manager and he said«we have a key holder here I’ll get him.» The key holder told me they changed shifts and that the truck behind me wasn’t served. Really? I told him I watched him get served and give the employee cash and the«key holder» rolled his eyes which I told him was disrespectful and he in turn told me «this is disrespectful.» I will NEVER go back to Mr. Burger. Obviously they no longer care about customer service or satisfaction.

While the drive-thru wait was a bit long, I understood why when I rolled up to the window. They literally made my delicious cherry shake in front of my eyes! Very good service too.

The food is decent, but very up and down you never know if it’s going to be hot/amazing or dry/barely warm. The service is great though. All the workers are very friendly and welcoming. I think some improvements could be made to the building, and the recipes and if they did make these improvements then this place could easily be a 5.

I’ve eaten at this place twice. The first time I ordered a hamburger with just meat and ketchup and it came out with everything on it. The second time I ate there I ordered chicken strips. The chicken was still raw in the middle and made me sick to my stomach. I won’t be eating here again.

Food is great but the drive through is a joke. The last two times I’ve gone, I had to wait 20+ minutes in the drive through. On both of those occasions my order was also not correct. The burgers are good when they’re not burned to a crisp which has happened to me a few times. I like the food but I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon because of the poor service.

This has to be the worst burger place. Bland, no flavor, bad meat, and awful cheese. My stomach hurts. I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about. I’m not even picky with my burgers.

Very yummy family owned burger joint. Prices are pretty reasonable. Both the regular and Curley fries are great!

Nice place with a friendly staff. I don’t want to make it sound unsanitary but the place could use a really good scrub down and a few spots of fresh paint. A little shine would make this place look outstanding. Pretty good burger for the money but a little dry for me. A little less time on the grill and the burger might be a five. Over all a decent place and it deserves to be among better the burger joints in town.

Great burger and tots. The burger reminded me of Whataburger(of which I’m a fan and they’re not around out here). The service was good. I’m always looking for the local places and I’d eat here again when down in Fayetteville.

I live right around the corner from here and have driven by it thousands of times without stopping in. So we went one random weekday night! It was good quality fast food! Plain and simple. The burgers were delicious and the fries nice and crispy and hot. The cashier made us laugh and we felt comfortable there. I liked that the portions weren’t huge, as many fast food places are, and I didn’t feel disgusting when I left. I will recommend this place to everyone!

The food is decent. Nothing spectacular. Its a greasy burger joint with milk shakes. I got an ice cream cone and it was more ice milk than ice cream but it was alright. The onion rings had no flavor and were cold, not very pleasant. The burger was ok, just your everyday run of the mill burger. I asked for no mustard and add mayo, didn’t realize until I got back to work with my order that they did not put mayo on it, so it was a dry burger. It wasn’t seasoned very well either. It was kind of a let down. Taste was ok, it was not well done, which most people like, but I prefer a little more well done on my burgers. They did have some really great chili fries though, they weren’t on the menu, I had to ask for them, but that’s ok. They were good. The chili was greasy and a little spicy, and fries were hot and cooked crisp. I would eat those again. All in all, its a greasy spoon. Worth dropping by if you haven’t had it, but not worth making a special trip.

I travel down Wedington/North quite often, and since I have, I always pass by this curiosity of a restaurant known as Mr. Burger. Just by looking at the outside of the building, one can sense the extreme pride it has in tribute to the local college: the University of Arkansas. Decorated all around the building, there are numerous decorations depicting U of A’s mascot: the Razorback. However, décor alone does not make a good restaurant; one has to consider the quality of the food and the service… One day, I decided to finally walk into Mr. Burger and try their burgers and fries. I saw a curiosity of sorts on the menu: the«Hickory Burger», which is a burger with a hickory barbeque sauce on the burger. I’m all about trying food either«out of the ordinary» or «different», and that’s as far as the menu went to either extreme, so I gave it a shot. I was anticipating a burger experience that I have never had before … took my first bite … and sadly, became super disappointed with the quality of the burger. The quality of the burger itself was average to poor. The burger was super thin, did not taste like the taste of a ground beef burger that I know(but, rather, the beef patty had a bit of a «metallic» taste to it), and the sauce did not do any justice to cover up the taste of the patty. However, the fries I got with my burger were pretty good; however, I ordered a «small» portion of fries, and I remember counting the fries, and the amount of fries I had was about 10 – 15 … so, when they say a small fry, the really mean a small fry portion like the small fry portion that might have existed decades ago. Also, the service. I remember waiting about 10 minutes for my food, and that the receipt that was stapled to my bag being completely ripped up. Besides those two happenings, there was not anything terrible or great about the service; however, I thought that it was odd that I was eating there at about 6PM, which is during the normal dinner rush time for restaurants, and seeing almost ten employees in the store when I was one of about four customers who were ever in the building while I was there during my half an hour stay(with only about five or six cars passing though drive-thru while I was there), and wondering why it seemed overstaffed. After dining at Mr. Burger, I honestly have no idea where all of these 4 – 5 star reviews are coming from. I’ve experienced substantially better food and service from national fast food chains, and would recommend them over Mr. Burger.

Dined here 8÷1÷10 There’s something honest and pure about a good fast food burger, and Mr. Burger on Garland is a fine example of the concept. There’s nothing fancy about this joint, just good food, served hot, greasy, and fast, as it should be. I know everyone(myself included) is or should be on a health kick, but some food should just be a bit greasy and bad for you. Food like a burger and onion rings. Another great thing about it is that its local, not the same repetitive chain joints you find everywhere(except in-n-out, i’d love to have an in-n-out. If you’ve been, you understand why.) The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and my bacon cheese burger was cooked to order. It came out hot, well seasoned, and exactly as i ordered it(i’m a burger purist, ketchup only, thank you very much). The onion rings, while fairly heavily breaded, were seasoned well, very hot, crisp, and with just the right amount of slightly regret it later grease. While this is not the best fast food burger i’ve ever had(you have to make a trip to Tulsa for that), its certainly more than capable of holding its own and being a quality choice, if you’re looking for that sort of thing. I recommend Mr. Burger if you’re in the neighborhood and want to eat local, and enjoy a guilty pleasure.
