I had been putting off getting new glasses for years when I finally got my prescription updated a few weeks ago. With prescription in hand I started the hunt for some frames that were flattering and stylish, but also affordable. Starting with the place I had my eye exam done I went to no less than 4 places. I often found great frames, but I was floored with the $ 500 and up price tag. Finally I went to Spectacles. I didn’t know quite what to expect because they aren’t a huge chain store, but I was immediately blown away with the service and the affordability. Despite the small store front, the selection was impressive and they have something for every price point. I was given great personal care and they have a lab on-site so I got my new glasses back in only 3 days! They even were super kind to my young son and so patient with getting my fit just right. Thank you so much to the staff at Spectacles! You have a customer for life!

I needed repair some frames I had damaged. I even said that I purchased them from a different retailer here in Fayetteville. Both Mike and the owner Richard were quite friendly and helpful. The store was very busy which is a good indicator. Really friendly and helpful staff. I definitely recommend.

Great service and friendly staff. Whilst I had to pay more for my contacts than if I had ordered them online I felt the personal service was worth the extra cost and they threw in some free lens trial packs and some cleaning solution. Contacts were delivered rather quickly and I enjoyed chatting with the staff.

It’s always obnoxious when storekeepers decend upon you like vultures cackling and snarling for a carcass… That’s what I felt once I entered this store. There was a nice man who greeted us at the front of the store. This was fine. THEN, a vulture-lady came upon us like we were teenage gangsters wanting to pocket video games at a local EB Gamers. I just wanted to know if they sold the polarized Oakleys that I’ve been looking for, for the last 2 months. Instead, vulture-lady wanted to inform me that they could order things for me, that I could choose not to buy something even if I ordered it, and on and on and on. Needless to say, I didn’t spend a dime, nor did I offer a piece of my carcass to the sniveling, drooling, vulture-lady needing to make commission/sale that day. Nope, I took my business elsewhere…60 miles away… to another, gentler, nice-staffed store in Raleigh. Good going, Fayetteville! Way to keep the money in your local economy!
