This place has helped restore my faith in Chinese food in NC. Standard Chinese buffet food, but it actually tastes good! Came here for dinner($ 10.99 + $ 1.99 for soda). Well-decorated venue with plenty of food to offer — everything from egg rolls and wonton soup to steamed tilapia and sweet and sour chicken. I really enjoyed the«baked shrimp and crab,» which consists of fake crab meat, but the shrimp is well flavored. I was very surprised that the steamed tilapia was actually perfectly cooked — it is often very dry at buffets. There isn’t a wide selection of sushi, and they’re not very impressive, but your typical rolls are available. No sashimi. I didn’t sample anything from the Hibachi grill. If you’re super hungry and in the mood for some decent Chinese food, check this place out! Stick to the hot foods.

I have been in here now on 5 seperate occasions. Prices are ok. Seniors lunch and dinner is basically one dollar off. Seems that by the time you pay for drinks the price is the same. I have not figured that one out. Food is good. They have a lot of seafood. I like the pepper chicken best. Not to keen on the grill. Guy wiping his nose is a no no for me. Other guy sits and plays with his phone. May be on break. Just found it odd. Tip situation is very odd as well. Pay get a receipt and then you need to tip in cash or rering your bill. Seem a little like fraud to me. Place is full so it must just be me that finds it just ok.

When they first opened the food was actually pretty good. However, my next visit as of recent was horrible. The food all had a really funky taste. Almost as if it was all rotten or something. It was bad. I couldn’t finish half a plate without having the urge to throw up. Yuck!

I was curious what sanitation rating this establishment had received and according to the North Carolina Public Health Inspections website this establishment on July 14, 2015 received a 94.5 which was wayyy better than the 74.5 they received on June 23, 2015 just less than a month prior. I have never eaten spoiled food or gotten sick from this establishment. I’m happy to know they quickly cleaned up what got them the horrible grade in June. I will probably come back in the future the food is decent with lots of variety and they have a great assortment of fresh fruits and the stir fry is awesome. It’s made right there and you can tip the guy making it if you choose.

It was great food when first visited with my family when it opened, I am always very careful to check the sanitation ratings on restaurants before my patronage, at that first visit rating was 93.5. We were shocked when we once again decided to eat there and the sanitation rating had dropped to an astounding 74.5, this is unacceptable for any establishment to sell food that we consume! So went in today. no one greated me. the little lady with dark hair up front has a really bad attitude. and even tho there score is a «C».i still decided to give it a try… i then had a server named verna who was so unbelivably rude .she made our drinks nd never came back to the table. so i then asked another server why was there score so low… apparently im not the only one who had raw chickin nd attacked by flies while trying to eat… i was also informed tht they use jiant fly tapps in the kitchin over the food tht they leave sittin out and tht all the cooks smoke while cookin… Im so disgusted with this place already. nd its my first time… some one help them

For the area it’s pretty decent. Even though it was the old Golden Corral, they gutted it and redid the inside so you dont smell that old mustiness. As far as food, it’s pretty standard Chinese buffet style. They also have the Mongolian grill, which they are calling the hibachi I guess. A small sushi area. The salad bar is dreadful but who goes to Chinese buffet for salad. The waitress spilled melted ice cream(sorry no green tea ice cream here) dripping it a good 2 – 3 feet. She said it was alright when I pointed it out. She came back and just rubbed it into the carpet with her shoes. This is why I brought the stars down to 3. And this is why we can’t have nice things.

Today I’m DISAPPOINTED. We came here opening day TWICE and loved it cause they had different items from the normal buffet. We then came almost once a week. It’s been a couple wks since our last visit n what do u know. Staff who do not welcome you especially cashier and host. On top of that the food i came for nearly all of them not being served. What happened?! Another place that started out great, couldve been great but seems to be going down hill like all the other restaurants. Fix it. I spent a lot of money here and was so happy to brag about this place to some people. I originally would’ve given it 4 stars on day 1 so that shows how upset I am.
