Chipotle Mexican Grill

Two friends wanted to meet me here for dinner last week. I’m not a Chipotle fan, but I let them pick where they wanted to go.
I got a bowl with pork to go. They were out of black beans while I was in line, and someone was refilling a container while I waited. They should have these prepped ahead of time. I had to repeat three times that I wanted lettuce; the third time, the cashier told the girl making the bowl what I said because she got frustrated with her.
My friends were like «eh» when I asked if their food was ok. We were into our conversation and the food was totally forgettable.
Fast food is fast food, and while this is not as terrible as Taco Bell, it’s still a gut bomb. I will say heck no next time someone votes for this chain.

This is definitely one of the worst chipotle. Customer service is horrible. If you come at around 7PM until closing time, chances are they’re out of guacamole and a few other items. One or two time is fine but this has happen to me more than 5 times.
Their chips has burnt pieces in the bag. When asking if everything is in the bag the employees seem more than annoyed. The place has really gone down in the last several months. The service has gotten worst, along with the food, and how dirty the place has gotten.
This used to be the go to place for me and boyfriend when we can’t decide on where to eat, but the thought of this chipotle place make us cringe. I’ve been holding back on writing a review here because I’ve been waiting for it to get better and get back to what it used to be. But the last few months of giving this place the benefit of the doubt, I walk out of here wasting my money and disappointed.
The steak has been way too dry the last few months along with the white rice. But I do like the chipotle Tabasco, but other than that I won’t be coming back here.

The food here is always great. One of the best meals in town if you ask me. Hardy and nutritious. It’s especially busy during the lunch hours but the staff is friendly and they are always pretty fast. The wait is never super long.

This had to be the worst chipotle experience I have ever had and I will never be coming back here. The wait was forever yet only 2 people ahead of me. All because they only had one person working the line, yet they have 5+ people working? They literally were having a 10 minute discussion over who would wash their hands to help. Then trying to order food was horrendous. Asked me the same question over and over and still messed up my order. By the end I didn’t even care I didn’t want to wait any longer so I paid and left. Get your assembly line fixed.

I have always been a major fan of Chipotle. Only hours after eating here I became very sick to my stomach. It started with stomach cramping, diarrhea, then vomiting. I have eaten Chipotle may times, and never encountered a similar issue. This is very disappointing because overall Chipotle was one of 3 favorite places to eat. I will unfortunately never return. Having to take sick days off work, I spent money to encounter a meal. Incredibly unpleased.

This chipotle is great! The food is delicious and this shop is very clean. They are now covering all of their meats at the counter and taking extra safety measures. I’ve never had a problem with the quality of food at this location. They give you a full bowl too. If you ask for a little more they don’t mind at all. The chips today were excellent. We eat here weekly.

We just moved our offices from Tukwila to Federal Way. So I stopped in here. Twice. The first time I walked out without ordering. They were out of chicken and asked me if I could wait 25 minutes. Ah… nope. The second time the workers were rude. Nobody at the location has any personality. The employees are always a reflection on management. After my experience and reading other reviews, will I will be back? Nope.

I just pulled up to find the place closed. I have watched at least 25 people walk away or go to Panda Express in about 7 – 8 mins. Temporarily closed?

Worst. Horrible customer service. Those girls have no ounce of friendliness in them to even give a smile. I ordered beef bowl. Beef was leathery hard. The temperature of food was cold to the touch. We always have loved Chipotle food until our recent visit in this Federal Way, Wa visit. My girls didn’t touch after 1bite. They ordered the chicken burritos. It was all cold and old tasting. Never Again.

Enjoy going to Chipotle when we feel like having a meal that won’t make us feel guilty afterwards. All the Chipotle locations get busy, but this one moved so slowly. It took us 30 minutes to get our food, and we weren’t even that far back in line. The workers seemed to be working in slow motion, and we almost decided to go eat somewhere else. But we waited that long already, did not want to waste all that time for nothing. And the restaurant is dirty. Wet spots on the floor and rice all over the ground and some chairs; was scared to sit down.

A huge fan of Chipotle, however, this one in Federal Way always disappoints. Not only are the workers rude, their portions are low. The inside is always dirty. They need to fire some of these workers and adopt a culture of service.

These kids move like turtles. I’ve never seen employees move this slow, and I’ve frequented many chipotle locations nationwide. I won’t be returning.

I was disappointed this visit. The portions were small and the barbacoa was dry. The Pico was basically all tomato… Something just wasn’t right today.
On the good side, they now have a Chipotle online offering app for Android… That was the one thing I missed when I switched from iPhone to Android many years ago.

First time here is worthy of a good review. Needing to feed a group of hungry stomachs the following day, I tried Chipotle’s burrito by the box option and was impressed with the entire experience.
The crew at this location, after talking to their very accommodating manager, Marcela, went the extra mile and even cut the burritos in half, which made it a joyful convenience to munch on the day of the group feast. Chips & guac & sour cream included, in addition to a complimentary Chipotle Smoked Tabasco sauce (no you don’t need to sneak one out, just ask and they are more than happy to include one for you).

I love Chipotle and this location is a bust!
I’ve been here 3 times and my food has always been MEH!
I always get a burrito bowl with chicken etc etc but it alway seems like there is no flavor and not enough salt. It just taste so bland!!! Their chips are also very bland too!
No lime or salt on the chips.
I use to frequent Chipotle when I lived on the east coast and wow this makes me never want to go to chipotle again!

This is one of my favorite places for healthy quick eats. Even a Corona if you are in the mood! The only negative is that it is hard to get into. The street is one way so access is tricky. Worth the effort though.

We used to really love this place, but they no longer provide consistent and quality food. The employees only walk through the motions of service and rarely smile while working. However, I could overlook this if it wasn’t for a recent health report published in the Olympian on March 18. You would think that a healthier restaurant would have higher food safety standards. I guess not.

All cold holding/​storage must be 41 degrees or colder.
Follow up inspection: Although there has been some improvements and corrections since routine inspection, additional efforts are needed on cooling food procedures and foodhandler cards.

As people have pointed out the staff here is hit or miss… usually miss. I realize this place is essentially a Mexican McDonalds but what is with the employees that look high. Seriously. We’ve been here 3 times in the past 2 months and everytime there is an employee making my food that looks like is walking underwater. I honestly don’t think there is a manager here, if there isn’t they don’t work the floor or pay attention to their employees. But at the end of the day its fast food with fast food service. Compare it to McDonalds when writing reviews.

NEVER will I ever come back to this location. Absolutely disgusting.
First off, I understand that places get busy, especially after the game, but that is not an excuse to serve undercooked meat. As usual, I get a chicken burrito and my boyfriend gets a steak burrito, when he ordered the employee working asked «is medium-​rare ok?» We didn’t think anything of it.
As I’m finishing off my burrito, I look down and see something pink, picking it up with my fork, I pull out and entire chunk of RAW chicken. I was truly hoping it was just that once piece, later finding out it wasn’t. An hour later I find myself with the worst sharp pain I have ever felt in my stomach, and now have food poisoning. So thank you to this staff who finds that serving uncooked meat is ok.

I’ve only been here once so far but I plan on coming back!!! The location is great, right off of Pac Hwy and there’s ample parking! Even though there was a long line when we first got here, the employees worked great together and got everyone taken care of quickly.
The ordering process is pretty simple… it’s like Subway but with burritos instead.
I had the steak burrito and it was amazing!!! The salsa for the chips was awesome too!
Staff was helpful, fast and friendly! In all, this is a great place to grab some grub!!!
