Went there Friday before Valentine’s day to open a business account not realizing it wasn’t a corporate Verizon store and the sales guy Aaron Ellis who is apparently new didn’t disclose he didn’t know how to do a business account and that their inventory isn’t the same as a corporate inventory. I was told that there was no Droid Maxx carried in the whole Pacific Northwest. Sunday went to a corporate store and saw about 40 of the Droid Maxx. Went to return the original phone we got from A.E. and were told we needed to pay a $ 50 restock fee. This was after we already paid $ 100 for the phone and they snuck in a $ 20 activation fee. The phone was among others that was marked free on display yet costs once you picked it out. He said he hadn’t has time to switch the price tags out. He was on his phone and the store was empty when we got there. On the phone with their headquarters now(after the staff working today said they didn’t have the number) and they are saying they will refer me to their sales manager. As someone that’s been in sales for 14 years, I would fire this whole staff.

In this technologically advancing world, it is hard to stay informed about change if it is not directly correlated to your profession. Unfortunately, the workers at go wireless are in this line of work and are lacking in knowledge and taking advantage of those with less knowledge than themselves. I went in to go wireless to have them transfer my contacts from my current iPhone4 to a used iPhone5 I inherited after my significant other got the new iPhone6. I also wanted them to activate the phone so I could begin using it. –they informed me that there would be a $ 20 fee because the machine they use is a rental. — they then downloaded a free app onto my phone and the used iphone5 and used this to transfer the information. — they substituted this free app, that walks you through the process of doing this yourself, for the machine(no machinery was used). I was charged the $ 20 thinking that my phone would be set up and ready to go but they could not activate it for me. I was also not told that I could use this app for free by myself without paying them. I am not a phone specialist but I can read and work my phone to the extent necessary to use this app the way it was intended and used in the store for $ 20. I was unhappy that after I asked them for a refund because they didn’t use the machine or activate the phone, I was refused because they still preformed the transfer service. The whole trip took about an hour and I left without my iPhone5 activated. Save yourself some time and money and go to a dealer. This store’s employees are unable to work the technology they are selling. I was very unhappy with them.

I found the two young ladies working there to be the ideal picture of great customer service! They were both friendly and attentive and kept the environment professional and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back, even just for a chat! Kylie and Palma, you ladies were a pleasure to work with!

Really appreciated getting to know the girl who helped my figure out my wireless plan. Glad to be with Verizon finally. Thanks Palma! I think that’s what her name was. I’ll be back for a tablet soon.

If what their employees do on the outside of store, I would hate to see how they act inside. Enjoying my day off, I decided to go pick up a new video game. I decided to make a trip to gamestop. I tried to park in front of the store I was trying to go to(Game Stop) but had to park in front of the«Verizon» Store because there was a couple of cars in front of the Game Stop. No big deal just an observation that in a some what large parking lot for 3 small business why there would be two cars parked directly in front of the gamestop. Maybe since it’s 30 out maybe the employees didn’t want to have to freeze their ass off trying to get into the building in the morning. As I was waiting to make my purchased an employee from the Verizon store kept demanding to speak to the district manager. He stood there impatiently, fondling his cell phone. I felt like it was kind of odd for him to be looming over their sales counter and demanding in such a manager why their counter person was happy as could be but I could sense there was something more to what was going on. The manger came out and they both went outside, I had to follow due to me finishing my purchased but I was unable to leave because the Verizon person was standing blocking the door berating the smaller older GamerStop manager. I could here the whole gambit of conversation, belittling, and sarcastic nature of the Verizon employe saying,” Fine if you park in front of our store… I’ll just have you towed then.” which started a back-and-forth between who can have who towed. The conversation escalated to the Verizon employe getting more aggressive and with me wanting leave, I swung the door open and told the guy to «stop, this isn’t what you do in front of a customer.» Verizon guy-«Well he called us idiots, is that okay, hu is it?» me-«I just heard everything said while i stood here waiting… when did he do that? BECAUSE I COULDEVENTLEAVEBECAUSEYOUWOULDN’T LEAVEHIMALONE» Vguy-«well he came into our store and called us idiots.» me-«in front of customers? if so thats not cool, otherwise I’m trying to leave and couldn’t because you wouldn’t get off of it and go back to your store. As an adult there are better ways to doing this rather than doing it in front of a customer» Vguy-as he aggressively now approached me“Oh, yeah… Why don’t you talk to me when you have a real job!“ me-«dude, it’s my day off and I work in sales, I have also managed customer service FOR Verizon and this isn’t what you do in front of a customer.» Vguy-«oh if you think so, that’s your opinion…» TLD;R I was in the market for a new phone and was thinking of getting my wife a new one for christmas. I was actually thinking of switching to verizon. Thank you for reminding me the reasons I dont deal with Verizon anymore, Mr Contracted employe!”
