Went to the federal way ihop… service was as to be expected, food as well met expectations. It was me and my 2 young sons, my bill was 40.00 dallors so I gave my server a 6.00 dallor tip via debt card. I would normally tip in cash but had none on me at that time. So the next day as I normally do I checked my bank statement only to notice that the charge from ihop was changed to 48.00 dallors total. I thought this was strange and at first wasn’t gonna say anything but my girlfriend told me I should so I called the next day and asked to speak with the manager. I told him about the change to my tip amount and to my surprise he instantly told me its an honest mistake. no apology, automatically an excuse? Well sir I don’t see how a 6 and an 8 look the same. As my penmanship is pretty good, his reply was once again kinda nonchalantly its an honest mistake. Now I asked him” well how many time do you make honest mistake a day” being that most people wouldn’t notice an extra 2 dollars on their statement. The only reason I did was because I checked it. So I asked the manager if I could have the corporate phone number and was told its on my receip«so you aren’t gonna give me the number» he said«if you pay attention sir» by this point I started to get pissed and told the guy«you better watch how you’re talking to me, I’ll come down there and smack you in you face» his attitude then change. So by this time I decided I would find the corporate number via the web. Then the next day I noticed the bill had been changed back to the correct dollar amount, this was stange. I did not give him my name or my debit card number. So today I spoke with corporate and told the lady my story and she seemed to be concerned especially when I suggested that this may be accruing on a regular basis. Think about it, if they take just 2 extra dollars from 100 people thats 200.00 dollar a day… so the point to my long story is tip with cash to be safe and if you’re like me and forgot to bring cash check your statement to ensure that you’re are not having extra money stolen from you without knowing. But the food and my server were good… lol

We have given this place 4 more attemps. done… they don’t cook hash browns crispy when you ask. The hollandaise when to lumpy bad tasting to now they changed finally and the flavor is just terrible. Crepes. outside 2 inches so Tuff couldn’t cut the rest rubbery and very lacking in flavor. The bacon has a old rancid meat taste. Coffee how hard is it to make coffee. Such a burnt taste we couldn’t the taste off our tongues.

The service here is TERRIBLE even when you go at 4AM and there is literally one other couple in the whole restaurant… Our waiter was so slow, so another waitress took our order and then he came over and asked us if we were ready to order 10 minutes later… I was like ummm we ordered 10 minutes ago. Our food was ready at that point so he awkwardly brought it over and scurried away. Bacon was obviously microwaved, eggs were ok, and I do like their pancakes. Boyfriend and I felt really sick the next day… I advise to STAYAWAY. Wayyyy better breakfast places around here, we only went here because it was the only place open at 4AM in the neighborhood :(

Came in yesterday with my kids and my mother Our server was a very mean and angry man. Hector slammed our drinks and condiments on our table, the drinks were all set right infrint of me on the end, so I had to pass them out to everyone, when our food came out he slammed that down and walked away without saying anything, we got his attention to let him know we didn’t have silver wear, so he grabbed it off the table next to us and slammed it down. My iced tea was empty when he brought our food and was never refilled, and my mom never got the juice she asked for. He had the busser bring us a bill, when we stopped him to ask for boxes, I said«excuse me» and he yelled yes, excuse you and then rolled his eyes and said to me in Spanish«qué el infierno seguro quieren» I speak Spanish, this means what the hell do you want, I looked at him and said I want 3 boxes, he walked away and had the busser bring is our boxes. When we mentioned to the girls up front how rude he was, they said, yea he’s like that a lot and after reading reviews on Unilocal I see that a lot of people have complained about the same thing, On a positive note the food was delicious, would have been even better without the side of asshole

I come here fairly often, but it has been a while since the last visit. I bring my mom here for meals. They’ve recently completed a remodel. Service is always good, food is good too. They seem to change up the menu, which brings me to my review. I ventured out side my normal choices, eggs Benedict or chicken fried steak. But today I had the Chicken Florentine crepes, these were amazingly good. Service was once again also good.

IHOP was visited by me recently out of nostalgia. It’s not a place that I recommend, being on par with Denny’s and also the fact that I cook much better food. However, it’s good for the times it’s late at night and/or you don’t feel like cooking, you have kids with you as it’s über child friendly, or you want to cry over your pancakes which is what I went there for last week. I missed someone who liked to come here, so I came in and ordered pancakes in his memory. I tried their limited blueberry and«lemonade» flavored, which was a mystery icing with imitation lemon. Ugh. I scraped off the icing and the blueberry pancakes were good on their own. The waitress that served me did a good job. She took a long time to bring the check though, especially since she only had one other table besides mine. The décor in IHOP is depressing. It matched my mood. They have a special for seniors which is BOGO free on an entrée between 3 – 6 pm with the purchase of 2 drinks. I would recommend IHOP to spend time with your kiddos. My former step-son really loved IHOP and also pancakes. I would take him to this location on our«date nights» at his request. He absolutely loved the food. It’s very kid friendly. The kid pancakes come out with«faces» made of whipped cream, sliced bananas, cherries and other things. Kids get a kick out of that. The portions were also just right. The private parking lot is huge, shared with Winco. Food: 3 Service: 3 Ambiance: 2 Parking: 4

Good breakfast food when you’re craving breakfast in the middle of the night. I like that it is open 24 hours. But the service here is mostly horrible.

At first the greeting was great. quick and friendly. I mentioned my anniversary coupon ahead of time. My server sat with me to figure out my exclusions and then I placed order and asked for coffee. Drank two cups of coffee but should have had my breakfast by then since its wasn’t busy at all. Server comes to me and apologizes 10 minutes later saying she forgot to punch in the order, but it will be right out.(Not a good thing) This is 1 star reduction. No excuse when it’s not busy to forget punching an order into system. Order did arrive not long thereafter as the server indicated, so the reasons I gave 3 stars was for being friendly, providing fresh made meal and being sincere with apology. 2 more reasons for a 2nd star reduction: First part– They give a receipt that allows for you within 3 days to participate in a survey. In return you would get a code to write on receipt to provide your server in next visit for a free short stack of pancakes. The cashier was going to take and keep reciept. I told her I would need it for survey. She didn’t know what to do, so the manager stopped by and printed a copy for me. How are you going to offer doing a survey requiring the receipt yet you take the receipt that provides a transaction number you need to give in order to receive the code for the short stack?! *more training is needed* The second part for 2nd star reduction– I want to know who thought it would be a good idea to put the entrance facing the street where the parking is on the side forcing you to walk around. Access was logistically poor and made no sense. Its just odd. If you come here, you’ll know what I mean.

I normally avoid the IHOP /Denny’s type restaurants. Far better places to spend money, but friends chose. It was Sunday morning. We arrived early, and tried to get a table. We were told we could not be seated because one person from our party of four was still en route. So we cooled our heels for 15 minutes, during which another guy came in, meeting his already seated party. WTF? When our fourth and final person arrived, there were no longer any empty tables. Would we like to wait? Uhmmmm, no. And don’t worry about a next time.

The wait staff, breakfasts and prices are great. The restaurant is clean. We often eat dinner at IHOP. If you are 55+ then dinners are two for one if you get there early.

Over priced food with awful service! Went there late evening and was the only customer there. Took 15 minutes just for the waitress to come greet us and then another 45 minutes to get our food.

I am only rating the service. Service is really bad here. Every time I go to this IHOP the waiter named Hector gives horrible service and treat as if he wants us to leave when we are not done with our food.(he puts down cups and utensils very loudly and stares our group non stop). We felt very unfortable eating and staying here. I am about to call the manager or call the company directly to talk about this incident. Other than him other waiters and waitresses are nice.(they deserve five stars)

I usually come to IHOP in the later hours of the night when they are fairly busy. Foods always been decent but the service is always understaffed. The«server» is usually doing the best they can to accommodate everyone. If they were to add another server for a short night shift this would probably raise the star but it’s somewhat understandable due to cost. Tried coming to this location a few times during the morning but the wait was over a hour and a half.

My biggest gripe here is that despite being open 24 hours, it seems as if any time you come during peak hours, they are extremely short staffed and people cannot get their food let alone a table in a timely manner. The workers always seem pretty flustered but despite all that — they do their best and a pretty decent job given the circumstances. I think it’s just a matter of short staffing and poor management. The food is pretty typical for any other IHOP. It definitely hits the spot when you’re craving a hearty breakfast meal. I don’t recall ever having to pay $ 13 for an omelette though, not sure when prices shot that high but when I’m craving it I’ll pay for it. I recently had the Bön Bön Pancakes as well and that is delicious! It’s a bit heavy on the dulce de leche cream but the cream itself isn’t overly sweet — nice and light tasting but paired so well with the fluffy pancakes. Will this place be a go to spot for late night food every time? Not unless they can beef up the staffing. But I will be back from time to time when I have a hankering for breakfast at night!

Here on a Friday night. Terrible day at work and now the power went out at at home while grocery shopping. Killing some time before I stumble into my dark house with melted icecream. $ 19(coffee, pancake dealie and tip) wasn’t anything great but not bad. I am the only one here, no lie. Service was fast. Scary fast. Ordered food. Got up to use bathroom, came back to food. That was not enough time to cook eggs! Whatever… server was kinda funny. Why do people wait in line here forever on sat. Or sun mornings? We will never know. Not the worst place though, better than waffle house.

Yes– I get it. You shouldn’t walk into an ihop expecting anything more than fast food quality/service. But I think its also fair to say that ihops are typically hit or miss. Well this one is a miss. Because of the lack of breakfast places in the area this place is packed as hell. Waitress named Deborah(or maybe Deloris? Doris?) will go out of her way to make your experience horrible. I’ve left zero tip 3 times so far in my life. This place was one of them.

It is IHOP so you can’t really go in with high expectations. As with any chain restaurant, food and service can vary. We’ve been to this location a few times now and the service is always good. The food isn’t consistent. I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and whole wheat blueberry pancakes. I liked the pancakes… a lot. The eggs just tasted like the egg mixture out of a carton… maybe it is? Bf got the country fried steak and the gravy on it was way too floury. Can’t say I won’t ever go back… we love IHOP because of it’s convenience. :)
