Lynn’s Nail Design

This is going to be a mixed review. I had been here once before about 6 years ago and they did a really great job on my feet and I got one solid color on my toes. I went today I got there at 1:48 and I asked how long is the spa pedicure because I needed to be home by 2:45 she said 30 minutes so I estimated to 2:20. She said that they could have me done for sure by 2:30 I said that’s cool because I live about 10 minutes away. So I told them I wanted French tip they said okay fine. WE GET STARTED! EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!! (Besides the fact that the tech had the water too hot) I get offered a bottle water, they have free wifi, the nail tech is REALLY working the heck out of my toes! I’m loving it because in the location you wouldn’t expect that. Continuing I look at the time and it’s 2:15 and I’m like okay you haven’t even started putting paint on. So I remind her that I have to leave soon and she starts painting okay… this is probably the worst paint job that I’ve had done at a nail shop. My tips are uneven and very square after I told her 3 times to file the edges to make them more rounded and thin out the tip. It’s just a really bad paint job and I ended up getting out of there at 2:41 so I got home late and my husband got to his appointment late.
The reason why the review is mixed is because everything was great but the paint job. I believe that I may try them out one more time but request a different person. I’m not sure though. I’m on the fence.

I think they are a good value place to go. I have been here off and on for years and have had various services done. My one word of warning is that their spa chairs you sit in to have a pedicure are supposed to massage you, but they gave my friend and I horrible back pain and we are both in our 20s. I think they could definitely up their game as far as atmosphere and skill level. But then they would probably charge more so it’s a give and take.

So I was checking out nail salons in federal way and decided to stop by after reading a lot of positive reviews. I admit that I’m pretty picky about my nails but I like them to look nice. I had gotten a fill for my acrylics and French tip shellac over the top. The lady doing my nails wasn’t very talkative and extremely rough. She made 4 of my fingers bleed above my cuticle. The salon wasn’t very clean. She failed to remove all of the previous color I had on my nails so you can see it all through the clear coat. The tips were poorly painted on. Also didn’t remove the excess shellac off of the skin around my fingers. Very poorly done. I will not be going back or recommending anyone to go here.

This was my first time at Lynn’s. Lynn did a beautiful job in record time. I’m very pleased and will return regularly.

Extremely friendly, fair prices, and an overall great atmosphere for all ages! They dos an awesome pedi on my mom, daughter and myself, and do great acrylics!

I had to give this business 1 star, cuz it won’t let you write a review with 0! A very good friend of mine brought her young cousin in for her first manicure. They did such a TERRIBLE job, then were EXTREMELY RUDE to my friend when she pointed out how TERRIBLE of job they did and demanded she pay. Thanks to them, her little cousin doesn’t ever want to do it again. Your LUCKY I was there, I would have called the police! #FUCKINGBULLIES. Not to mention, this place is NASTY dirty, no sanitation, your taking a chance of catching something!

Love this place. Great prices. I mean a $ 15 pedicure? Oh yeah awesome. ALWAYS super fast and very friendly. Owner operated, love being thanked by my name each and every visit. They do great nail designs too, all by hand and done until you love it, for my fellow perfectionists out there, she’ll make symmetry important if it is to you too.

I’ve been here a couple time but only once for myself. The ladies are all very nice and the prices are better than any other nail salon in the area. Definitely going back.

Yikes-​not good at all. poor service & very dirty environment. She didn’t clean any of the brushes and let nail pieces fly all over. Unfortunately i really dont recommend place.

Great customer service, did my fill quickly. Overall good experience. She owner works there most of the time and she will call you by name. Def going back soon!
