I am very happy with my hair after going to MeMe & Company. I had MeMe do my hair and she explained the process of what she would do to my hair, answered any questions I had and was fun to talk with. The staff is hilarious and an overall good vibe. They got me in after 6pm which is not normal for most places since other salons usually close at that time and they also had some great products on the shelves. I am so happy with my hair and was told to come back anytime and they would help me lighten my hair which would be the safest way to not damage any hair. I will def go back!

This is the only place I go. My main girl is Ashley and she is amazing. I highly recommend Ashley. She is very considerate and knows what she is doing. I go there for hair cut and Brazilians I love the owner Mandy. It is a cute little place that is very welcoming.

I had a HORRIBLE experience today. This was my third time coming in to get CND shellac nails, this time the girl I went to was out sick, so they let me know someone else would be doing my nails. Let me just start out by saying this lady did not know what she was doing, not knowing the difference between alcohol and acetone— made taking off my polish an hour experience!!! She kept acting like it was the polish— oh no it was her and after about 45 minutes of just having her fumble to remove polish from 8 of my nails, I called it and said after she is done I am leaving. She then still charged me!!! Are you kidding me??? When I left the spa, I called the front desk and let her know I had a horrible experience and her response was it was the shellac? I asked her to have the owner give me a call because I wanted to talk with her. I received a little push back and I let her know if I didn’t get a call– I would be writing a Unilocal review about my experience. So here I am. Please don’t go here– you will regret it. It’s not a spa– it’s a hack of a hair salon.

I’ve been a client of Meme&Co. for about two years and I’ve had my hair highlighted and cut by couple of different stylists, including MeMe herself. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the cost is slightly lower than other comparable salons in Federal Way. I’ve never had a bad haircut and they’ve always been attentive to whatever I may need. My favorite stylist is Christine, who is a fantastic colorist.

i was scrambling around last minute to find someone to do my eyelash extensions before i went on vacation. I remembbered I had been there once to have some removed and Kelly had removed them with ease and was very careful. I normally get them done in Tacoma at Eyecandie with Stacey, I love her! But anyway, Kelly did an awesome job too, did a great job only applying the lashes on a one-​to-​one basis. Plus my lashes looked incredible when she was done. I now have two people to choose from out in south king county when either one of their schedules are too booked (I tend to only be able to book at the last minute), and I know that I will get a high-​level of quality.
Thank you Kelly! Now I don’t have to mascara at the beach and can come out of the water looking great :)

, there are significantly more and I think you will get a better feel for how the salon is. Seeing Kelly’s reviews on that site are what convinced me to go to her, and I wasn’t disappointed.

There are not many places in Federal Way that I found that I could go to get a consistent cut and style. I like that the professional product line that they use/​sell. My hair always looks great when I leave. The only thing I think could be improved on is check-​in time. My appointments generally ran 10 – 20 mins late.

The salon is poorly put together. The girl they put me with to do my hairs first words were ‚“I’ve been out of beauty a year and just got my first job here and I haven’t done a perm since beauty school.” I should have left then. I asked several questions, got another stylists opinion about if my hair would melt and after a very reassuring pep talk I went ahead with it. My hair didn’t melt but it did get damaged quite a bit. I paid for a hair cut but only to notice after the 2 day no wash policy was over, that the girl didn’t do anything to get rid of the FRIED ends. The perm also didn’t take to the top later of my hair. so the girl got lazy and didn’t put the chemical in the top of my hair. I immediately called the salon since they «100% guarantee» their services. The receptionist said she would call me back. An hour later… she tells me that the manager won’t be in until TUESDAY and she will leave a note. (this was a saturday at noon) I couldn’t leave the house looking like I did so I went to another salon and had them fix the hack job they had done to my hair and DID NOT STAND BY THEIR 100% BULLSHIT GUARANTEE!!! Do not go there!!! You will regret it!!!

I was receiving eyelash extentions there (My first couple sets were from swink). I was told on the phone that since she has been doing them for some time the price is 55 $ (at swink its 50 NO MATTER WHAT). The lady was fabulous, but I couldnt get over the smell of nail glue. (was that what they were using on my eyes???) It stung my nostrils and my eyes. After my first fill there my eyelashes would twist together and no amount of brushing would untangle them. They also would fall out in clumps, instead of one or two at a time. I went back once more, just because it was closer then swink, but I cant handle the smell of the glue and Im not paying for my eyelashes that fall out in clumps because they eyelashes end up glueing together…

I have been a MeMe & Co cleint since the day they opened their doors and feel it’s home for me. I’ve never been so loyal to a salon in all my life. I live in Mukilteo now and actually make the drive south to enjoy the level of service I receive there. I have had many different gals do my lash extensions and NONE of them to the beautiful degree that Sarah does! And when I go in for my hair cut/​style/​color, I not only recieve a great look but they also give me tips on how to take better care of my hair. I once sent my Mom to Gene Juarez for their day of beauty which turned out to be the day from hell so they can’t even compare to the level of quality and service MeMe & Co. gives me time and time again. They really do CARE and if for any reason you’re not happy, they will make right if you just give them the chance.

Disappointed doesn’t seem adequate to describe my experience here. I am drafting this as I «cook» (the nail gal’s words, not mine) in my paraffin wax treatment during my «spa» pedicure. This is definitely not a spa experience, not even close. The pedicure area is right in the center of the salon, where you are surrounded by others getting hair services. The conversations are noisy and certainly not relaxing or fitting a spa experience. The pedicure area is small and messy. The nail polish selection is kept in a plastic tote! The bottles are thrown in, not organized by color and most of them are old. I couldn’t even twist the cap off to check the color. When I pointed this out the nail tech said that happens a lot and handed me a small gripper cloth. In addition, the nail tech continued to put hand sanitizer on her hands before touching my feet each and every time she needed to touch my feet. I get it the first time but after they soaked, she sanitized, before she moisturized, she sanitized, etc. The massage was mediocre at best. My husband can do a better job than she did. The end result was fine but not spectacular. My toes look nice so I can’t complain there. The girl was also nice, though she didn’t say more than two words to me the entire time. I imagine it was because it would have been hard to keep up a conversation with all of the other chatter and noise going on less than 10 feet away. I normally get my pedicures at Gene Juarez Salon and Spa but wanted to give MeMe a try. It was listed as one of the top 5 day spas in Western Washington according to Evening Magazine so I thought I would give it a try. Sadly, I should have spent the extra $ 10 and stuck with my usual routine. I would pay $ 20-​$ 25 for the experience I just had. There is no way the spa pedicure service at MeMe is worth $ 45. I’d much rather spend $ 55 and be pampered at Gene Juarez than go back here in the future. I was considering eye lash extensions but after this experience, I won’t go here for these either. I wouldn’t classify this salon as a top 5 anything. I have no idea how it ended up on that list. Perhaps they spend a lot of money in advertising.

Great little place. Considering the extreme levels of discomfort I am in each time I go for my brazilian they really make you feel as comfortable and non-​akward as possible. Fran is soooo quick getting zee business done which makes it even smoother. just got my bangs done too love em’!

This salon is a great addition to the area. The salon is a full service spa from hair, makeup, facials, massages and waxing. I came in for a cut/​color. The staff is very friendly and making my appointment/​checking in was easy. Their salon is beautifully decorated and has an upscale vibe, without being snooty. It’s obvious the stylists love working there and have a great time with their clients. My stylist, Shannon Platzer was excellent. She listened to what I wanted, added her own idea and delivered with a great cut and color. I highly recommend her!
