Great place! Katie is an awesome server. I come here pretty often and food is 10⁄10 always! I recommend their spicy rice cake with ramen noodles.

I went there on the grand reopening day and was a little disappointed at the food. Just went in on Saturday and noticed a complete change in quality/taste of their food. With the new cook staffed, every dish we ordered was so tasty and amazing. We ordered chicken feet which was the best I’ve ever had, very tender cheese don katsu melted in my mouth, spicy seafood soup had a very refreshing taste and delicious, the gopchang(intestines) was so amazing too! Steamed egg came out perfect without being burnt. We received prompt and extremely friendly service provided by the waitress, great environment, clean, amazing food!!! We loved it so much we will definitely return to order take out and will be our number one place to eat/drink. Already craving their food and can’t wait to try their other dishes.

So came here after their re-opening. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was disappointed. It’s a typical Korean style bar environment, similar to that of Cockatoos. The chicken here was alright. The naked chicken was moist and pretty good. It was crispy and have a pretty good flavor to it. The yangnyum(sauced) chicken however wasn’t the best. There was a ketchup flavor in the sauce that I kept noticing. I know that many sauce utilize ketchup; however, there’s was just too strong. The cheese corn here though is pretty good and I really enjoyed it with my beer. Usually, I would just give a restaurant like this 1 or 2 stars. However, the owner came out a few times, asking for things that he could fix and things that we enjoyed/didn’t enjoy. I really appreciated that because I think that’s what goes into a good restaurant. Taking the opinions of its customers. I truly believe that they can fix up the restaurant and start making good food again.

Midnight reopened again under new management. Heard it was the owner of the karaōke place across the lot. Unfortunately, the food before was ok, but the food now was horrible! Their banchan was not good and the steamed egg did not have enough water that the bottom started to burn. They gave us a second one for the long wait, still burnt… The food finally came out. Stir fried soon dae(blood sausage) tasted like very spicy pepper paste and that’s it, no sugar or salt. The chicken wings we ordered was interpreted as fried whole chicken. This wouldn’t be a problem except all the fried things(fries, chicken and rings) came out luke warm… So incredibly disappointed. I went with korean people who speak korean very well so I’m not sure what else to say. GOTOCOCKATOOSINSTEAD!

I’ve tried coming here on two occasions late at night and considering it is called Korean midnight something or rather, you would think it would be open. But both times it has been closed. on the door it even says it is open until 2 a.m. This is the last time I come here.

So went back today after this place closed down for a while. The waitress was really nice, but the food was just not the same. Seafood pancake was too thick and had too much batter(not much seafood), hot wings were too salty, sausage with veggies were just kielbasa with some peppers in a overly oily and sweet sauce. Man. I am sad. Loved this place before but not sure I can go back, at least not for the food. And worst of all, the 30% off happy is no more! Maybe I’ll have the courage to go back, but not for a while…

Great place to go to at night, especially when other places close early. Usually good customer service, especially with the lady with glasses. I like their flavored sojus(especially yogurt soju) and they use real fruit in some of them(like grape and strawberry). Their boiled squid doesn’t ever have that extreme fishy smell that other places have. I just wish they had more dinner entrée options. *this is a review for before they changed the whole place
