Vinnies has okay pizza at a great price. However grab-n-go should be taken out of the name. I rarely get out with my pizza within 10 – 15 minutes. The employees there are lifeless and show no care to their job. The customer service is not great, which I guess isn’t that huge of deal considering it’s just pizza. If these were the only issues I might give it a three star, but the competition next store(little ceasers) does everything quicker and with a smile. My suggestion is that you just go next store to little ceasers and get the same mediocre pizza with better customer service.

Sadly, this used to be a 5-Star establishment. However, this place still has the best pizza for your buck in Federal Way. $ 5 gets you a Grab-N-Go Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza. $ 7-$ 8 gets you a Yew Yorker or Hawaiian. $ 10 gets you an amazing pizza like the Chicken Bacon or Harlem Shake. They also have a deal where you can get 3 Pizzas for only $ 18.99. I do however, have my gripes about this place. 1) I love their Vinny Bread. However, paying .60 for a tiny cup of marinara sauce that’s not included in the $ 3-$ 4 price for Vinny Bread is a rip-off. 2) Their pizza’s thickness is inconsistent. Yesterday’s pizza was literally paper thin in the center. It also seemed as if it could’ve sat in the oven longer, as the pizza was just barely baked enough to eat. 3) I don’t know what it is, but since NY Vinny’s has expanded, their staff is usually unenthusiastic. Smile! Don’t take my order looking like you hate your life. And 4) Invest in some of those pizza cutting guides. They always make uneven slices. Yesterday nearly half of my pizza wasn’t cut into slices, which really disappointed me. Expert Tips: When going in on off-hours(1pm-4pm), DON’T order a Grab-N-Go Pizza. You’ll get a pizza that’s been sitting under the warming light for some time. In 10 Minutes, they’ll make you a fresh pizza for $ 7-$ 10. This place is better than Little Caesars. Don’t go to Little Caesars. Support your local pizza place, instead of the disgusting pizza giant next door.

Extremely cheap, fresh, hot, delicious pizza. This is way better than any pizza of this kind that I have experienced. You can’t beat the prices or the convenience. It isn’t just«good for cheap», it’s great. Funny counter staff, easy parking… simple.

Vinnys!!! Okay so when I use to eat meat all the time we would get their 3 large pizzas for $ 20 with any toppings. Let me tell you! DON’T GOTOLITTLECAESARS! IFYOU’REINTHEAREA! Just go to Vinnys! The dough isn’t too thick or gummy and doesn’t get rock hard the next day like little Caesars. The pepperoni is real pepperoni! That pepperoni that cuts roof of your mouth lol $ 5 pizza!!! TOTALLYWORTHIT!!! The pepperoni and cheese $ 5 pizzas are worth every cent they are well put together. As far as a comparison to real New York Pizza this just is not it. It does not compare but for a local town spot it’s good.

Grew up in NYC, 25 years I’ve lived there, and would get a slice 2 – 3 times a week as it’s so readily available, pretty much on every other block there’s a pizzeria. New York pizza has unique qualities, and hard to describe it all. The crust however is of the main importance I believe, there’s a hard crispy layer on the bottom and it cracks as you fold a slice before consuming. So I’ve been looking for a place in WA for a long time now that makes pizzas like back home, and I really really wish I can report to my fellow New Yorkers that are here in western WA I’ve found it, or even a place that gets it close, but sadly this is not the case. Yes I realise on Vinny’s Unilocal profile picture it looks like a New York pizza, I bought into it too, and it probably is a picture of an actual New York pizza, but it’s not what you’ll get from the Federal Way location. I really wanted this place to be the real deal. Let me put things in perspective on how close or far Vinny’s pizza comes to making a NYC pizza that a New Yorker would understand, say that Sbarro is to NYC pizza as Panda Express is to real Chinese food, Sbarro makes a more legit NYC pizza than this place Vinny’s, far more. Now with all this said, I would still recommend people to go grab a pizza from this place, but not for the authenticity or even that their pizza is great(it’s just an ok pizza), it’s because they have a pretty awesome deal of a whole pizza at $ 5, it’s advertised as large, but it’s not, it’s really their smaller of their two sizes, so more like a medium. At that price for a choice of either cheese or pepperoni is a steal, even if it’s a mediocre to ok pizza. My wife and I did not opt for this great deal, but instead ordered a large pie(the actual large) with custom toppings of pineapple and tomato(strange I know, she’s from the west coast), it came out to be $ 13 and change. I feel kind of bad for providing such a low star rating, but this review is based on an establishment that brands themselves as a place for New York pizzas, they even have the statue of liberty as a logo. Otherwise 4 stars if it was branded as just a none regional authentic pizza place. And heads up, it’s a grab and go, no tables to eat.

Good pizza. Cheap price but yet tasty. I’m a big fan of the $ 1 dollar style pizzas you can get in NYC, so I’m not really looking to drop $ 30 on a pie. Much better than Little Ceasars. Wish there was one in North Tacoma!

Pleasantly surprised by this joint. Spent little over $ 9.00 bucks to get a large 3 meat combo. Got pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, and Sausage. Crust was decent but a bit thin in the middle. Overall not bad better than Little Cesar’s. The same owners own Route 66 pizza in Orting I was told. Also I guess Wicked Pizza as well. It is set up just like Little Cesar’s menu and pricing but a step up in quality. They also have a garlic butter sauce for the outer crust if you want it.

Walk in, get a pizza and out the door in minutes! Great tasting pizzas too! We’ve been looking for a good pizza place and after 3 or 4 visits, the pie is still banging. In fact I’m thinking pizza to go along with Sunday’s football! My mouth is watering already!

Ive been living 5 minutes away from Vinnys foralmost a year now. My momd frame was if i want $ 5 pizza imma go to Lil Caesars. Big mistake This place is so good. I ordered a ½ and ½ pizza. I love thin crust pizza it reminds me of pizza downtown Seattle. You can just graba piece and fold it in half. Delish! I dont have any complaints. When i want pizza this is the families new fast pizza go to spot.

We just moved to Federal Way from Kent, and having already since tried the Little Caesar’s and Godfather’s within a half mile of our house, my husband was bugging me to try New York Vinny’s. Our experience with«Mom and Pop» pizza places thus far in life has been dismal, which is to say it has never, ever ended well. Not once.(Ocean Shores… the horror!) So I was pretty reluctant and put it off for a few weeks. I finally caved and picked up one of their $ 5.00 cheese pizzas on Monday. We were very, very pleasantly surprised. We are huge pizza fans, pizza snobs, you might even say, having worked at 3 pizza restaurants between us in our younger days, and eating pizza very frequently, Neapolitan style, namely Fondi in Gig Harbor and Tutta Bella in Seattle being our usual favorites. We just got another New York Vinny’s today, and it was just as good as the one we had two days ago. I have to say, for a $ 5.00 pizza, New York Vinny’s is phenomenal. The cheese, the sauce, the crust… it’s all on point and actually tastes very good. Usually with cheap pizza, only one of those 3 key components is any good, and that’s only if you’re lucky. Their side sauces are quite good too, although the garlic butter is a little strong on the garlic for my liking. If you’re reading this and haven’t been there yet, I would say give it a try. If you have any palette for pizza at all(hint: if you enjoy Domino’s, you don’t!), you’ll be pleasantly surprised with this place. It’s certainly found its way into our regular rotation… which may not be a good thing for our waistlines. Bön appetit! P. S.~ there is a Tae Kwon Do studio next door, and if you go at dinnertime when it’s warm out and they leave the door open, you will get to see /hear kids under the age of ten practicing their moves(‘Hyah!’)…possibly the cutest thing ever. Adorbs.

Why go to Little Caesars next door, when you have this gem? For the price, great quality! People are really nice here, and service is quick! Chicken Bacon Ranch is our family favorite! Don’t forget the garlic butter crust, you have to ask for it after it comes out of the oven.

Asked for extra cheese and was told they cannot do it with the special. I asked if I can pay extra for it and she said no she couldn’t. I refuse to support any company that lacks customer services.

My wife and I checked this joint out on a whim; we were hungry for pizza, and saw the sandwich board sign guy on the corner. Originally expecting something similar to Little Caesar’s, we were thrilled to find that New York Vinny’s offers a superb deal for your dollar! Their Grab-N-Go pizzas are cheesy, chewy, and delicious, while their sides don’t lack in flavor. We go back regularly, and are happy that their coupons are delivered to us in the mail on a regular basis. For the price, you get more than you expect. Don’t show up if you’re expecting gourmet Italian pies; come for quick, tasty, and cheap!

Not sure how to rank this one. For $ 5, you can get a delicious cheese pizza. It’s hot and ready to go. Great for days when its busy and your staff needs a fast lunch. Unless said pizza causes staff to have bastardly GI distress the rest of the afternoon. A fluke? Maybe, but its happened twice now with at least three staff members falling ill.

Literally the rudest place I have ever been to in the federal way area. Not only waiting 30+ minutes for the«famous» 5 $ pizza, I was constantly penalized for not knowing the menu with remarks from the cashier and a lot of huffing and puffing 0⁄10 would not attend again. Might as well go grab a microwave pizza same quality as one.

You can count on Vinny after trying little Caesar and waiting 22 min for a cheese pizza only to be told they are busy and another 5 min. I went to NY the walked in got a cheese and pep and was out the door in 2 min(paid by card) Pizza is consistent and better than little Caesar Will stick with Vinny
