All hype. Crazy expensive. The food isn’t good. All bun, little beef, less flavor. Drove out of our way to eat here, definitely disappointed. Don’t waste your time or money.

Tasty burgers, tasty fries, lots of napkins required. Burgers are right size, thick. The staff here is always super friendly… like they actually like working there!

I was a little skeptical about trying this place due to the reviews being all over the place. Overall, I’m glad I did. I had read in some reviews that this place used to be a Mooyahs, and this place is definitely better than Mooyahs! It may be a *little* generous giving them 4 stars, but since Stacks was a 3 star site on Unilocal at the time of my visit, I’ll bump up because it’s really more like a 3.5 star site. As with many reviewers, I too was pretty impressed with the burger. I got the Cry-Fecta and it really was good, can’t lie! I came in on a Wednesday and got the $ 6 special, which made it even better. The bun was nice and soft, burger wasn’t too greasy, great flavor and a fair amount of spice to it! I’m not sure if I lucked out, but when I finished, I didn’t even have a drop of grease on my paper. I added on the garlic/parm fries and a drink and was in to the meal $ 13.41 total. Because I had read reviews first, I was not too disappointed with the fries. I was kind of expecting them to come out a little burnt and less than amazing, and that is what I got. Were they horrible? No. Were they worth $ 4? Probably not. Also, here is my big problem with burger joints. Back home in Utah, there is a burger joint that won a national title for best burger. You can get a burger WITH fries there for around $ 8 – 10 — and that is for a burger that will make you want to slap your grandma and ride the bull down the street! They are that good! Paying 50% more for a burger that is not quite as good makes it hard to recommend. So all in all, it was a really good burger. I think it is a little overpriced, but come in on a Wednesday when it’s $ 6 burger day and you’re golden!

I want so badly for Stacks to succeed but it seems that they are still missing a few ingredients in the recipe for a perfect burger experience. Mainly, the food itself. The interior is an aesthetically pleasing fusion that is both sleek and fun. Including a chalkboard for notes and doodles, a few arcade games, and pleasant looking as well as comfortable booths. While the atmosphere within Stacks has come a long way from its humble beginnings of simple fast food dining sets and out of place Mason jar chandeliers, the food still struggles to exceed expectations. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered anything truly terrible at Stacks. There is just always something off. This time it was a lack of seasoning and a somewhat mushy bun, other times it has been the over done fries, greasy food, or forgetful staff. I want them to win! Stacks’ online presence and sense of community is wonderful! Having Santa come in to take photos with at Christmas is phenomenal! Please, please rise up to the challenge and become a great community burger joint! They could have it all, but they are missing the core: consistently great food and service.

AREYOUHUNGRYFORHAMBURGERS? Stacks can easily satisfy your deepest and darkest cravings for hamburgers… so long as you have the cash for it. *shakes fist at single dollar sign dangling from the store name*. These men(and women) are masters at their craft and have rightfully earned the title of «Burger Architect»… NOWBURGERARCHITECTS, PREPARETOFACETHEREVIEWOFTHESUPREMEJUSTICEOFEDIBLEGOODS!!! =_= FOOD(3⁄3STARS) Yes, the food offered here is sufficient for a place that presents itself as a «hip burger joint» it has a wide variety of burgers to choose from. Including menu options that appeal to those whom desire gluten-free goods. Yes yes… I was easily satisfied by the Pork Sammy & the Bigfoot BBQ sandwiches. OH, BUTHERESWHERETHEYGETTHETITLE«BURGERARCHITECT»… check out the monster called the«777». BRINGINTHEBULLDOZERFORTHISBADBOY! 6 – 4POUNDSOFMEAT, TEMPURACHICKEN, 7BACONS7CHEESESWITHAVOCADOSPREADSANDBACONAIOLISAUCES. OHHHHHHHHH *falls into a bed of hamburger buns*(I never really tried it, it was actually $ 27 dollars but I thought it was interesting)… All of the ingredients that they use is fresh & locally grown… like the potatoes! I really like their french fries. *noms* They have tasty shakes, which has improved since they were«Mooyah Burgers»… so kudos! ENVIRONMENT(1⁄1STARS) I am awarding Stacks a star for having a clean & neat looking environment. Their kitchen seems to be clean, the tables & the bathrooms are clean. It does feel a little bit awkward during the slow time because you’ve got all these TVs, some are advertising their burgers or popping the philosophical question«what came first, the chicken or the egg?». Others are playing sports which is pretty neat. I’m not used to that and it’s irrelevant to rate. They also have two retro arcade machines! YOUCANEATCHEESEBURGERSWHILEPLAYINGTHEAVENGERS. Or have a beer & hog the machine from all the young kids that want to play it… Ohohoho *twirls mustache evilly* =_= CONSISTENCY&PRICE(0⁄1STARS) My biggest complaint with the place is price & consistency… I come here and it’s usually 40⁄60 with consistency. I don’t come here too often because of the price point but when they do hit the target the experience is amazing. My worst experience ended up having my hamburger bun fall apart when I picked it up to take a bite while grease drips all over my basket… but the one thing you do not do… oh no, NEVER… is give me soggy fries! I DEMANDCRISPYFRIESORELSE I WILL… I WILL… *knocks salt shaker over* I usually spend anywhere between 13 – 16 dollars on my meals. There is no combo meal unless you’re a kid. The burgers, drinks and fries are all priced separately. When the bun is holding itself together & my fries are crispy it’s definitely worth it. If you’re a baller on a budget however, you may want to steer clear of Stacks. The one thing I didn’t rate that made me sad… I couldn’t find where they sell hot dogs anymore on the menu. One website labeled it as selling hot dogs. I love chili dogs; ; In a nutshell, the food is great with a lot of crazy combinations to satisfy your cravings. It’s a clean young and hip environment that appeals to a younger age group but is welcoming to all age groups. Caution is advised if you’re tight on cash. It should be labeled as «$$» instead of «$» NOW, IFYOU’LLEXCUSEME. *breaks apart a crispy fry slowly* I’ve got fries to conquer! =_= –XavantTheEnigma

Amazing fries(gluten-free safe!) and shakes… my burger wasn’t bad, but wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. It was a little overcooked for me, so next time I would just order it differently. They have GF buns(and its very nice to have this option), which may have been the reason I wasn’t fully thrilled with my burger. It was super dry and tough. I ordered the«Original» with fries and a small peanut butter shake(so good!!!). My friend had the«Asian» in a lettuce wrap and sweet potato fries which she really enjoyed. The burger menu looked interesting with lots of fun toppings and the service was great! I would definitely go back.

I have never see anyone order the chicken po boy, and with good reason. If you are going to have me pay about $ 8.50 for a sandwich don’t use weird grey mystery chicken. So chewy and nasty, for that price give me nice white meat. Definitely going to stick to the burgers which are absolutely amazing.

Stacks has been in a state of flux since it’s inception as Mooyah’s. It showed in their menu selection and inconsistency in the quality of their food. Now it appears to have finally settled into its own, complete with revamped décor with retro arcade systems, and burgers in reverence of the local football team. I have had several of their offerings, including the 12, the Beast, and the Bigfoot BBQ. In all cases, the sandwiches didn’t disappoint but they also didn’t impress. The Bigfoot was a soggy mess due to the coleslaw, which amounts to an unpleasant texture of meat between wet spongy buns, quickly becoming a race against time before sandwich implosion. The 12 is essentially a California burger that is probably called that due to the green avocado spread(it was tasty though). The Beast is simply an oversized bbq burger. Now for the fries: They are bad. I have been consistently disappointed by their fries. They are usually bland and slightly burnt. The worst part is that they have degraded in quality over the years again due to stacks’ identity crisis. They began with simple offerings(chili cheese, sweet potato, regular), and now they have lost the plot with their latest offering of cheesy, garlic parm(colored an odd green! Go local sports team?). The green garlic parmesan never melted on the fries, it just remained there for the whole meal reminding you of your mistake. Typically good garlic parmesan fries use actual pieces of garlic and shavings of off-white parmesan. Overall: not bad, 5⁄10 All the green lights and fresh look don’t necessarily equate to great food. Simplicity is best.

We were wanting to try a specialty burger place and after looking at Unilocal and all the comments and pictures shared we stopped in, I got the 3 patty beast with everything, also got the big foot, the uncle Ben and chicken po boy, also a strawberry milk shake. All I will comment is that they were really made to perfection! We will be coming back real soon! This place is fantastic!

**STACKSFOODTRUCK** So I’ve been hearing good things about the food truck for a while now and there is always a huge line when it is outside our office building. Took a break and went down for lunch today and man, was it worth it. The burger was delicious. Messy in that way that really good burgers are, hot and fresh, with the cheese melting into the meat and just making a glorious disaster to hold. Ate every bite of that burger and the fires. The price was also awesome and I’m lucky they’re not out here every week. I was also surprised at how fast we got our food. They had someone taking orders down the line and by the time I paid it was only another 4 or 5 minutes before I had my food in hand. Rock awesome system. Nice to note they also have gluten free buns or offer it on a bed of lettuce. Will definitely go again.

Okay so umm I swear their fries are always burnt lol. I have 2 reviews in one so here we go. 1. I came here in 2013 before I got pregnant ordered just the stacks burger and… it was okay not very seasoned but it was fresh so I appreciated that. Saw some fries but thy were burnt so I passed. Fast forward 15 minutes and I threw that shit up lol. So I said hmm I will stay away for awhile. 2. 6 months later my husband and I decided to go he loves burgers. Cashier was very friendly. Husband got burger and fries with a milkshake. I decided to try the fries this time. We sat and waited, got our food and guess what? His fries were burnt and so were mine. RIGHT! Devastating. Burger wasn’t all that good either. So those are my stories. I would recommend the burger if you want a basic burger. DONOTGETTHEFRIES!!! Milkshakes are good.

I ordered the stack burger with additional toppings. Burgers were actually quite good!!! The fries were tasty and crunchy! Love how quick it was and friendly!!! I do however wish they left the lettuce in a full leaf rather then cutting them up but it’s okay the burger was juicy and good!

I’ve been here with my boyfriend and we both really like the burgers. They have a specials on certain days of the week. I was there on a Monday and they have bottomless fries on Mondays. I’m normally not a big fan of fries, but theirs are really good. The burgers are huge. You can’t just pick it up and take a bite out of it. I always have to use a knife and fork to eat it. The early bird is delicious. Bacon, egg, tater tots, and ham? You can’t go wrong.

I was really hungry so I was excited to see their burger food truck outside Hop & Hound in Bothell. The cashier seemed nice, the burger cost less than expected($ 5), and the burger was in my hands quickly. Win! Kind-of. Sort-of. Sadly, not really. First impression: The burger seemed to match the low(ish) $ 5 price more than what the truck seemed to promise. The bread and everything else made me think«cheap fast food» instead of «premium»(one of the words on their truck). The really bad thing was that I ordered a veggie stack and was given a beef burger. I was super hungry so it took a few bites to go «wait a second…» Glad I’m not a vegetarian, but dang it. Really frustrating New Years Day error. I went back to tell them what I ordered and what I received, and decided to add«it’s a good thing I’m not a vegetarian because plenty of vegetarians would be vomiting right now.» They just said something like«oh, sorry.»

Amazing selection of burgers! Crazy ones too, ones with peanut butter, ones with avocado, spam, and more. Good selection of drinks to include hand made shakes and a great set of fry choices. The only drawback to the place is too many damn kids! I know that sounds mean but there is a chalkboard wall for kids, coloring books for kids, and the floor feels like the moped it with honey and gummie bears! Awesome food though, I’ll give them that! Oh, and huge portions!!! Be warned.

Well we wanted a burger and we got one but it’s not what we were expecting. Let’s start off with the good: The interior was not bad, not exactly over the top but interesting enough not to bore you. The presentation of the burger was actually quite nice and how you want your burger to look. Large, meaty and beautiful. The fries were bountiful and that’s about as far as the compliments go. Everything goes down hill from here. The company: As a whole is very low staffed which really makes for a poor customer experience. Putting out about 2 burgers every 10 minutes with only what I would assume the owner and a fairly new employee. They need at least 1 more employee to keep the ball rolling. The sandwich… Ugh! My wife and I tried out luck on their most expensive burger«The 12». Being the carnivores we are of course we went with this burger because, «8oz of patty & bacon!» Duh! We had such high expectations«I mean look at the photos of that burger!» But in all reality it was such a boring and bland burger. The burger had absolutely no flavor other than a moist but somehow heavily greasy patty. The avocado was completely brown! Really! Seriously throw some lemon in that guacamole! It’s like they made it in the morning and left it out all day. Big NO! All in all a sad burger which literally as I walked out of the restaurant I felt nasty and had that regretful feeling. The fries: Which looked great right away but quickly turned our smiles into frowns. We had purchased the garlic and herb fries which were generously seasoned but was delivered cold and hard. Luckily we were able to have the owner remake them. Sadly he over fried them again. Well we tried. Always wanted to see what took the place of mooyaa burgers. I liked them better. Sadly I will not be coming back. Was really hoping to enjoy the food.

Words that come to mind: –Expensive –gluttony sized burgers –stack full of options I found this place fun to build your own«stack» burger. Many options including meats, veggies, cheeses, sauces, breads… which can delight or overwhelm a customer. I was a bit mifted when I attempted to select the turkey patty option and was told, «sorry we don’t have that on the menu» and then attempted to order a side of stack chips again told, «sorry we don’t have that on the menu». If you are like me, I really really want it if I can’t have it. ***Update your menu please Stacks!*** After the novelty wears off, I am left with a huge burger, expensive receipt totaling my bill.
