Three Layers Deep Tattoo

Called and left a message requesting an appointment later in the week. no call back at all. nothing…poor customer service. have an appointment with a competitor down the road. all set and gladly welcomed. ya snooze .ya lose. sorry guys

I had Ben from 3 Layers Deep in Federal Way, WA. do my second tattoo. He did my whole sleeve which took a couple days. My tattoo turned out amazing with no flaws and looked better than I had hoped. I came in with an idea and he helped me create a lifetime masterpiece that I am proud to have for the rest of my life. After spending a couple days with ben and watching how he runs his business, I am glad that I was referred there to get my tattoo. Not only did I leave this establishment with a new tattoo but also a new friend. Thanks Ben. His business is very clean, professional and friendly. I have already had a few friends get their tattoos there and they enjoyed not only the quality of work but his expertise in helping design their artwork but also explaining the whole process. I would recommend 3 Layers Deep to anyone and everyone.

I went to Ben for one tattoo and ended up getting 3 so far! He is very personable and kind, always making you feel welcome when there. Ben is very porfessional and is great about working with you to get the tattol you really want. I love all 3 of my tattoos that I have gotten from him and love that he is a perfectionist with his work. I would definitely recommend him to any wanting a quality tattoo from a very talented artist!

My first tattoo ever and Ben was wonderful from beginning to end. He spent time with me looking at pictures and coming up with the right design. Then he made sure I liked the placement and understood the process. He is so skilled that at times it didn’t even hurt. I am so pleased with the outcome. Everyone who sees it compliments it and agrees he did a wonderful job. If I decide to get another one I will definitely go to Ben!

Ben does amazing work he has done both of my tattoos and I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a tattoo.

I paid this guy a lot of money for him to free hand a cover up (not sure why), which then made the existing piece even worse… (like I refused to wear a short sleeve shirt for two very hot summers). Terrible experience. I had to wait years to find the perfect artist who was willing to take the time to figure out how to cover up his line work and scarring.

I have been here for two of my tattoos and I have sent family and friends to him. This place always have the best service and great work!

I just got work done by Ben about 3 hours ago and I still cannot stop looking at it. Sure, that is what happens when you get new ink but the detail of this piece of art he created is AMAZING. He sat down with him and took the time to listen to what I was looking for. We went back an hour later and he captured exactly what I was wanting.
He made the whole process so simple. He put on a movie for my husband and I to watch while he did his thing. He took his time with the detail and would not let me leave until he was satisfied.
I highly recommend him to anyone in the FW area that’s looking for ink. He has a $ 100/​hr and to be honest, I think that is too low for his work. He’s so nice and down to earth.

Ben is an amazingly talented artist. I have gone to him for 4 separate tattoos and he has been able to take any idea or picture that I have brought him and modify it and make it a unique and individual idea piece of art every time.
He is extremely personable and easy going and the shop is very welcoming and CLEAN. He always takes the time to explain the process and talk about size and placement, as well as color choice, very thoroughly before beginning the tattoo. He makes sure he knows exactly what you want. Unlike a lot of other shops I have been to, Ben has never tried to sell me a larger piece than I have wanted or change my original design idea.
Considering the work that he did on me (which is more watercolor style) and the work that he has done on my boyfriend (which leans toward the cartoon/​traditional) and looking through his portfolio I have come to the conclusion that he can tattoo pretty much any style including cover ups and portraits.
If you are looking to get tattooed by a friendly talented artist in a small welcoming shop, go see Ben.

He was very patient and it was a wonderful experience.
Since it was my first time I think that he took a note to that and was very professional in explaining things and all the intricate details.
He is a great artist as he has a huge portfolio of art in his shop.
