Very slow to open. Says 9:00 opened at 9:10 Sticky buns not finished yet, waited 10 more minutes but we’re Great. Bread very $$$. $ 10.50 for ½ loaf of seeded bread. I know this is a bakery but come on. Did not buy the bread. Very Slow service I will go to Meijers next time!

Owner is wonderful. Food is incredible! I couchsurfed in Fennville with one of my best friends and the lovely lady who hosted us mentioned she liked their bread. We snuck out in the morning to get her a loaf of her favorite and when we walked through the doors it was all over. Small place but the case… WOW…The case. So good. They even had a brisket frozen pizza! I ended up getting a brisket pastie and then we loaded up on different cookies and treats. I’m so sad this place isn’t closer to me.

Seedy salt bread!!! Yes, they’re the originators of this delicious bread in the area and you can buy at at the bakery here. I’ve loved it since the days of Journeyman(RIP) in Fennville and love that they still sell it here. They also have a variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods. In the evenings they do half baked pizzas you can take and finish at home. It’s all very tempting! They also have a freezer full of some local meats plus a cooler with some housemade sauces, local cheese and butter, and beverages. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and got about 4 different things to take with us for breakfast – a blueberry shortbread cake, raspberry cinnamon roll, a bacon and cheese biscuit, and a seedy salt roll with kale and mushrooms mixed in. Everything we had was outstanding! Staff here is so nice and willing to give suggestions and talk shop with you a bit. The line can be a little long earlier in the day and they do run out of stuff so come early and bring cash to help things move things along more quickly. They’re only open on the weekends but if you’re in the area you must stop by!

Now carries local grass fed beef, pork, bacon. Love the bean spread and pesto made fresh daily. We consider Kismet to be the best source for yummy, healthy and just outta the oven fresh.

Finally got to try Kismet;s pizza today. Sadly, it was disappointing. I was looking forward to something great but it was average. Overall 4 stars due to the bakery quality(5) and pizza(3).
